So when are we meeting?
I am finally getting my act in gear.

I fly in on Tuesday. No hotel for Tuesday night.
Wed, Thrusday night at the Marriott Courtyard NW for free (Marriott rewards)
Friday and Saturday night at the Westin Embassy for $50 a night on priceline YEAH!

Of course, I may not be able to fly in until Wed due to work in which case I won't have to worry about sleeping Tuesday night.

I can do Thursday lunch. There are lots of places to lunch in the city, I suggested Hotel Washington because it offers a great view of the city. Let me know if you want more suggestions.

I'm all for actually being served lunch, but just a thought....weren't they building a Fuddrucker's right next to MCI Center? I don't know if they ever finished it.

It may make the coordination effort a little easier if we don't need a table for a set number of people at a set time. The view, however, would leave something to be desired.

Hmmm, I'm rarely over to that side of town, but I can run over there this weekend and see if there is a Furddruckers there now. That does sound easier to arrange.

What is the Website for Worlds? Iam looking for a tv schedule for the events so I can give it to a couple of ladies I take care of at work !

They like to watch skating when there is nothing to watch!

I don't think they have released the practice groups yet. I am not sure that all of the countires have decided on their teams!

Eileen...that pic was from Yahoo and they must have taken it off the web, since I started getting that red X thing!! I liked the other one better!!

And regarding practice groups... If it's anything like Nationals that won't really be available until the event. And then even if a certain skater is scheduled, that doesn't mean they will show up. Sometimes they try to get ice time at a private rink.

Thanks, Snoopy! How about we meet at Fuddruckers between 11:30 and 12:00. The Original Dance is at 1PM. I know Eileen and maybe CarolA will be wanting to see that. We sold our tickets for that and the Compulsory Dance. I can't watch too much Dance.
