Hi,

I am really leaning towards taking my 2 daughters to dc for their birthdays (within a couple of days of each other) next May. They are turning 6 and 8.

I'm trying to work it so that the price of dc will be offset by taking into account that we will have a 7 day pass to sw. Our trip would likely be for 9-10 nights.

I was thinking that a couple of days at sw, 1 day at dc, maybe a day each at MK and Epcot. I also have tickets left for a disney waterpark that we haven't used. All of that with hanging out at the resort somedays (I hear Vistana Villages is great with a good pool and kids program).

Do you think we could even do more days of sw without getting 'all sea'd out'?

Thanks for your input

It is hard to see all of the shows at Seaworld in one day. The park is large and involves a lot of walking.

I would plan on spending 2-3 partial days in the park. In the afternoons, you could head back to the hotel for a rest and some swimming. Later, you could head out for a relaxing dinner at Bahama Breeze or go to Disney's Marketplace. I'd consider dinner at Boma at the Animal Kingdom lodge as well.

Vistana Villages is only a few minutes from Seaworld. It would be an ideal place to stay.

I love Seaworld and spend at least five days a year there. It is a beautiful park and a restful place just to hang out. So many sit down shows make it more relaxing than most parks.

Look into the guided backstage tours. For less than $10, you can see a penguin up close. These experiences take about an hour and are a perfect thing to do after you have seen most of the other attractions.

I think your girls will love it.

A couple of days at SW should be fine it lets u take the park at more relaxed pace enjoy u will love DC:jester:

Thanks for the great ideas!

I think this would be an awesome vacation if we can swing it. As much as we loved our Disney trip, I'd like to mix it up a bit :)
