Wait until he gets there, he will probably love it!!
Last year (Sept/Oct) was the first time SO had been to WDW since he was a kid (and then it was only a day trip). I am a FL native vet of WDW!!!

Of course I wanted to drag him to my favorite place on earth. When the free dining promo came up last year, I figured it was the perfect time to take him. He was completely not interested in planning AT ALL! Didn't care which parks, which rides, which restaurants. I had booked us for 5 nights w/ free dining, but only the 3 day FL-res. myw pass. Everything changed as soon as we got to a park. He was a closet theme-park-commando!

He was running from ride to ride and chastizing me for walking too slowly. When we got back home he talked about how much fun he had, and how he wanted to go back again really soon (he wanted to go in Jan. at first, but work/budget made Oct. better for us again).
Things he liked:
-MK!!! (esp. BTMRR, Space Mt, and Splash MT)
-Motor stunt show at MGM
-Pop Century resort (we had a great king bed room in the 50's section [req.] with a pool view)
-refillable mug that he could get apple juice in at resort
-Boma for breakfast
-one morning we strolled around the boardwalk and sat on some benches at SeaBreeze Point and just watched the boats on the water (he wanted to rent a water sprite-we might do that next time)
Things he didn't really like:
-Epcot (this made me sad as it is my fav park)
-M:S (he actually needed the air sickness bag

I felt so bad for him[*M:S castmembers really do a good job about this, there were benches just outside the ride vehical in the exit hallway, one castmember got him a cup of water, and another more official looking gentleman (not in a ride costume, but polo and slacks) came to inquire about him], but he says he thinks it was b/c it was so early in the am -EMH- and all he had eaten yet was a banana, so he wants to try it again)
-some of the table service meals I had chosen (incl. Spoodles, 'Ohana)
-the fact that Mr. Toad's Wild Ride is gone (I had told him about this, but it was one of the only rides he remembered as a kid!!)
-astro orbiters
-that we only had 3 park days
-that I hadn't resserved Coral Reef for dinner (this was his one dining request, but I turned it down b/c it was 2 TS credits at the time, plus I don't eat seafood)
This next trip, I have ressies for 7 nights (but am considering adding 1 night on the end). I have 7 day tix (as part of my package), but we are going to up-grade them to the FL res. seasonal pass when we arrive. I have planned for many buffet restaurants because he is kind of a picky eater, and can find more things to try this way. I have also made a ressie at the Coral Reef, it is now 1 TS credit, so a lot more doable for a non-seafood eater like myself! I have also planned for a ton of time at MK for him.
