Daytona beach

Was possibly thinking about staying in Daytona beach for a few days when we are in orlando and was wondering if anyone had any hotel recommendations or bad experiences at any hotels, possibly for 5 people(my husbands 20 year old cousin) Suites if possible or an inexpensive hotel where we can get 2 rooms. We we would also like oceanfront rooms definitely. TYIA

We are also going to Daytona Beach after a trip to WDW. We have tickets for the Pepsi 400, which happens to be July 5th, so everything is extrememly expensive that week. Don't know when you will be going, but there's alot of condos available that are real reasonable. there's one on ebay that you can get for $600 a week. We are staying at a hotel that I got for $66.50 per night, with a full kitchen. I actually think they messed up because my friend called & they are now going for $140 per night. Also, Ormond Beach is only a few miles down & they seem to have better prices than Daytona.

We stayed here 3 years ago & really loved the beach. Can't wait to go back!

Staying in Daytona 2 nites for the concert which is the week before race and got a good rate through HDN.COM. If you stay during race week it will be expensive. My DS and DH are going to drive over for the race while me and DD go to a park.
