Days to visit

Hi

Can someone tell me the best day to visit the main parks this Summer? I always follow Simon's books but seem to remember reading a while back that Disney has changed the early opening days, so the quiter days to visit are now different.

Sunday Magic Kingdom
Monday Disney's Animal Kingdom
Tuesday Disney-MGM Studios
Wednesday Epcot
Thursday Magic Kingdom
Friday Disney's Animal Kingdom
Saturday Disney-MGM Studios

Is this the only factor to think about when picking days to visit or are there are other things to take into acoount?

During May (9-22) Disney is testing a different EMH schedule with some parks opening an hour early in the mornings and others up to 3 hours later in the evenings. Conventional wisdom suggests that, if it is a success, it will be continued throughout the summer.

The currently published schedule for the test is:

Sun - Epcot (evening)
Mon - Animal Kingdom (morning)
Tue - Disney-MGM Studios (evening)
Wed - Epcot (morning) <i>and</i> Magic Kingdom (evening)
Thu - Animal Kingdom (evening)
Fri - Magic Kingdom (morning)
Sat - Disney-MGM Studios (morning)

We're visiting in July and, although I'm expecting it to be busy, I <i>had</i> figured we would be OK by avoiding EE days. This makes things more complicated and it seems that at last Disney may have come up with something to compete with Universal in encouraging visitors to stay onsite. Whilst the benefit in itself isn't that attractive to me, it makes staying offsite a riskier strategy during busy periods.

We stay on-site so always take advantage of the EMH. I would say Water Parks always seem to be busy at the weekends with locals
