Days Suites - Old Town Anyone who has stayed there . . .

How are they????

We got an incredible price for a 1 br suite at Days Suites Old Town. Have seen mixed opinions about the place.

Good? Bad? Any input would be great!!

Especially, how is the pool(s)??? Clean?

We stayed at the Days Suites in November 2002 and were very pleased. If you do a search here (when its not disabled - early morning is good apparently), you'll find quite a few discussions about the hotel. Basically, the hotel is old but decently maintained. The suites are huge and well worth the price. We paid $39.95/nite and thought it was a huge bargain. It included free Old Town tickets worth about $40.00. Old Town is just across the street. I requested a suite facing away from Old Town just in case the noise traveled. We had no trouble with noise during our stay. Request a suite in Bldg J, K or M thru T as they are further from Old Town In J or K, ask for the side away from Old Town.

Are there nicer suite hotels in the area? Absolutely. Is there a better value? Not that I've found. We plan to stay there again this November on our next trip.

I don' know where you booked your stay, but check rates at both daysinn.com and the hotel's own site, thhotels.com.

We booked directly thru the hotel at the 39.95 a night rate. Looking forward to this!! I figured the price alone was worth it for a suite!!
