I am not going until Dec but wanted to know when Fantasmic :wizard:will be showing which nights to schedule my ADRs. I looked on the Steve Soars site and it says for this week anyway, Sun, Tue, and Thur nights. Is it always those nights but depends on how many shows or do the weeks switch around?

Am I making any sense?

It's not always the same nights week to week.... and even sometimes they'll take away or add a show closer to the dates, when they get a better feel for crowd levels, etc (this happened to us in Feb - all the careful planning in the world couldn't have hit when F! would actually happen). We actually had them add shows intra day while we were there.

What I would do is this --- I would make an ADR for potential F! for every night of the vacay... then when you get closer, and have a better idea of the real timeframe, you can let a couple/three of them go. I am a big believer in double/triple ADRing, because times can change, the weather can change... so many things can happen, and I require contingency plans. :thumbsup2

I agree with the above. Disney did that this year. Near the beginning of the summer. they ran 2 shows every night of the week. Then they dropped it to Tues and Sun. Then added Thurs. When it gets closer to the time you leave, then figoure out what day to go. Theres really no telling this far in advance.

I just made my Fantasmic res for Thanksgiving. Should I book for one more night? Does Disney let you book 2 for one night? I just thought the only thing that would stop the show was rain?

I'm sorry, but did you really just tell the OP to double and triple book dining reservations? Not only is that unbelieveably selfish and inconsiderate, but totally not necessary. OP can made her ADRs in September after the calender comes out. Also, there are a number of Dining CMs who have posted that they will cancel double and triple booking when they see them in the computer.

Which should get them terminated because it is not official Disney policy and is the act of a rogue cast member... I want to point out that parties also might make two ressies for a split party... maybe hooking up with another couple. ANY CM who does this should be fired immediately for gross incompetence as well as for ruining someone's vacation. They don't know the circumstances of the ADR and are therefore being extremely shortsighted and selfish on the matter.

But to reiterate... cancelling ADRS is NOT DISNEY POLICY! If you find one cancel, I would start getting managers on the phones, finding out the CM and get it taken care of. That is the absolute worst kind of guest service you could possibly do and should not be tolerated.
