I watched my show today. I do believe Patrick is wearing a Phoenix t shirt. Wouldn't that raise some suspicion. Patrick asked Chelsea to spy on Bo. E.J. told Patrick the police are on to them.

Mimi is now working for Max. This is really weird. I don't know why Max even cares about her. He fired Shawn so were did he going to look for a job.....E.J.

What happened to Mimi in college anyway and what was her major? Now she is a waitress and I really don't know what she is doing at Max's because he has Abby. Shouldn't Abby still be in school?

And my preview for tomorrow has Marlena sounded not like her character again.

Mimi is working for Max part-time because Abby can't. I think school was the reason. I also remember that in college, Mimi had money that paid for her schooling that she'd earned ( I need another DISER to help me out with how), but her mother (Bonnie) spent all her money without Mimi's knowledge. She was working two or more jobs to help pay for school, but then she and Shawn got married and apparently that ended her schooling. We know Shawn chose to NOT go to school, even though his parents strongly encouraged him to.
Anyway.....I just had to share this with my fellow DIS DAYS friends.....For those who don't quite know me, I watch DAYS via my wonderful DVR Between my commute and long work hours, my DD and I have bonded over watching DAYS every evening. (Yes, I have addicted my 10 y/o to a soap ) So this afternoon my DD calls me to tell me she has to write an essay on her hero. And she then tells me she needs to go on the internet to search for some information on the hero she's chosen. My mind is thinking a female astronaut or music composer....and she tells me....are you ready for this????....her hero is.....

I do remember Bonnie stealing it for lotto tickets. I remember Mimi working at Bonnie's bar. Then of course Mimi and Shawn really didn't work. Heck no one really works on this show. Of course Lexi did she was always at the hospital. And of course there is always a lawyer on hand.

Lots of flash backs again today with Steve and Kayla. I can't get over how young Hope looks in them. And the big hair what a hoot.

This writer is is really bugging me. John is watching E.J. and so is Bo. Bo tells Sami to watch out for E.J so she goes and tells him. Then John tells Kate he has been watching her with E.J. Then Kate tell E.J. about John .

And now we see Hope always with Bo again, round and round we go. And they are always showing her eating now too as if she can't get enough.

Shawn was going to be a lawyer at one point so why would wonder why they are paying him $500 to deliver a note. And then Patrick gives him another $500. when he got it.

Lucas delivered signed divorce papers from Phillip today. He got them from Victor. They were talking about raising kids alone. Please do not put these too together......

NAB, you're a day ahead of me in viewing. Was Friday's show worth watching? I'm about at that point where I'm ready to boycott the show again. So much for the new storylines. I have grown to hate Shawn's character as much as Chelsea. The Brady genes must have skipped a generation with these two (but oh, that's right, Victor is Bo's biological father ) No wonder Chelsea is so bad, she has both Victor and Kate's genes running through her! Didn't they once say Patrick was leaving? So WHY is he still there? Maybe EJ is gonna kill him off and...I can't believe John actually thought telling Kate to stay away from EJ and his hot stud body was going to work

Hi all, haven't been around much, life etc. ya know...

I do agree with all the posts above...but new writer, please speed up your process of returning this show to its former glory! I've been checking out YouTube and they have a ton of old stuff on there (I've been mostly watching the Steve/Kayla stuff as they are my favorites) and I can't believe how good this show once was (even with it's soap inspired unlifelike scenarios). I know alot here want Billie with Steve, but go back and take a look at some of these old clips, and see what S/K have been through, they belong together and have that Bo/Hope, John/Marlena type of love, always and forever. If you have liked the flashbacks this week, you will love watching some of these clips, talk about big hair, and funky clothes I'm such a sap too, some of them make me cry...... They are just a super couple to me. The sign language scenes are so good....ahh...like I said, I'm a sap at heart.......and they look so young in the clips, but they both have aged gracefully.

For those of you that have watched the show for years, Hope & Steve had a GREAT friendship back in the day, I'd forgotten how close they were back then...he was a bad guy to begin with and he and Bo have a history also...I've had fun remembering the way all these characters came together.

I keep forgetting to post this but has anyone else noticed Patrick's shirt? It looks like 2 Pheonix's. Now isn't the DiMera family symbol the Pheonix? If this is what Patrick's shirt is then why hasn't anone on the show noticed it? hmmmm.

On another note, why did John have to open his mouth and tell Kate? I mean they had a problem about Sami spilling the beans to EJ. Did they really think that Kate would be any different?

Another thing, Belle, Mimi, and Shawn have all mentioned this week that they don't have college educations. Either they need to return to school or find realistic jobs (ok, Mimi's realistic). I mean if Belle suddenly finds a job that would otherwise only go to someone with a college education I'll scream. I mean it's a soap and all but some reality would be nice.

I too have watched DOOL for a long time....started watching it secretly when I was in the 3rd grade(also used to watch The Doctors and Another World and in high school Guiding Light). I am now 37 so...that is too many years to count.....but anywho... I remember the days of Julie and Doug, Liz and Don, Maggie, Mickey, and Don.....and of course Bo and Hope and Steve and Kayla. Yes, they were a great couple and I am sure they could be a good couple again BUT I am really enjoying Steve and Billie. They are pretty hot together and I really want to see Billie have a good relationship for a change. If it doesn't work out with Steve then so be it but I think she needs a steady man in her life. Why does she always have to be second choice? I hope the new writers give her a good man.

I am tired of Stephanie being so whiny and sniveling about everything. Why couldn't she have been wiped out by these biotoxins. BTW, What is a biotoxin exactly ? Evidently it has the capability to leap thru ones body and contaminate others but if it gets on one of those white biohazard suits it must die since they are walking outside the contamination areas with them still on.

I am glad they are showing Victor more. I thought it was funny when Marlena asked where Phillip got $100,000. to give Belle for Claire. He used to buy cars etc when he was a teenager, he had a huge allowance then. Both of them never worked when they were married so to say he had no money is crazy.

I hope they have something good planned, and he better not mess with the Christmas traditions , well one they can get rid of is Bonnie and the tree lot.

This writer has his work cut out to bring back our beloved characters to their former glory "days".......but it can be done! Quit with the stupid stuff and put into motion some new storylines.

I'm not thinking too many people saw Patrick with that shirt on But we, as astute viewers get the hint

I like Steve and Billie, but I'm just too attached to the past with him and Kayla, so I'm rooting for them to get back together......I'm sure it will not be an easy road either...once his memory comes back, I think he will realize how much he loves/loved her.

I agree, but ever since the "new" Shawn has started, the story has been stupid. I'm a big fan of Belle and Shawn, but with both of these actors playing them, I really don't care if they get back together or not. All the things Shawn has stood for since he "grew up" a few years ago have been thrown out the window.

Something that amazed me looking at those old clips, they sometimes are far-fetched, that is what soaps are about, but they made some sense and had some story/lesson involved. Just seems to me they are bouncing all over the place with characters right now. But, I'll still watch

I agree. I hate the direction they are taking Shawn now. I figured once the truth about Claire came out he and Belle would get together again. But NOOOO, he turned into some wack job and is screwing a prostitute. What's up with that???

And I want Steve and Kayla back together. I've waited this long for them to be back on the show they better put them back together!!!! I was hoping that when he woke up he would remember everything, but I guess not. Someone needs to hit him over the head!!

So I finally saw the new character...Nick. He reminds me of Andy Dick. They made him pretty geeky looking. And like they said he is coming in for a new interest for Chelsea. You can tell just by the scene with them today.

Patch remembers Kayla. I missed one show but that is what it seems like today.

Why would Patrick leave tens of thousands in a drawer in the living. It is missing and he accuses Bonnie. Bonnie took his money before so why would he leave it where she could get it Hope was there when he was looking for it , she didn't look pregnant today like other shows.

And why on soap operas does no one close there doors. Well I know it is so someone can catch them doing wrong or saying something. Or make us believe the person is finally going to get caught. Any way of course Chelsea see Bo and Billy in bed yet again and takes a picture on her phone. They didn't do anything again but you know what will happen Hope will see it ....around around we go.
