I have stopped watchign it and depend on you guys to tellme what is going on .


I feel really let down by the Belle/Shawn/ Claire story so I am on a break LOL you know like Rachael and Ross on friends : ) we are broke up for now but of course we will get back together

Oh, and Shawn was born forever ago, but they have Philip the same age, if not older than him .

I was pregnant with DS at the same time Hope was pregnant with Shawn. I can't remember which was born first, but DS was 19 in June. So Shawn should be around 19 years old and maybe in his second year of college.

I want EJ to leave Sami alone. Maybe he could hook up with Willow and we could get both of them out of the way.

Sami belongs with Lucas. Shawn belongs with Belle. Bo belongs with Hope. What's wrong with having some happy couples? It seems they all have to be in turmoil ALL the time. Soaps will always have drama and breakups. But let us have a little happiness sometimes too. I don't know about you, but this show is getting depressing for me. No one is ever happy in Salem anymore. Or if they are the other shoe is about to drop.

I started watching with my grandmother years ago. I'm thinking it may have been the summer of '69. Growing up, I watched when I was home sick and every summer. What I wouldn't have given for Tivo back then. To me the old characters are very real. I hate what the writers are doing to them lately. It's like they have no earthly idea who the characters are.

Don't worry next they will bring back Jack junior as a teenager and Will will still be one too....

I can not stand Will. He and Lucas came to Sami at the end of today show and told her they want to be a family again. She was just about to sleep with E.J. (I hope they don't let that happen). Then in my previews for tomorrow E.J is fooling around with Kate when Lucas and Will come back. We are going in circles.

It was funny to watch Sami drunk though. I think she would have done more at Carrie and Austin's wedding then what was written for her.

John is working with Bo to nail Patrick so hopefully this won't go on to long.

Still not liking Stephanie either. Funny there is now one to compare her to since she is the first one but still bad acting or lines I don't know. And will someone cut her hair.....

Well, I am in the minority- I loooove Sami and EJ together- sure, he may be BAD, but he at least accepts Sami for who she is and doesn't rip her to pieces for everything she does. Plus, he's HOT!!!!!

I just think Sami would be making a mistake to settle for old "I hate you- no, wait! I love you" Lucas- his "love" seems to come with lots of strings attached. I just don't feel the love for a Lucas/Sami matchup.

But E.J. is using her for something, like Stephano used her when she was Stan.

Just give me any happy couple and some new faces so that they don't have to sleep around with family members....

And this is a soap opera give me good looking Men to look at please......And that can act too.

That is what we believe so far (and who knows if it will stay that way)- but how many couples start out that way? Lots in Soapville. I don't know what will happen, but I just like the feel of those 2 together.

I too have been fast forwarding through the episodes lately. They just haven't been too appealing to watch. In the past I would ave been bummed to be interuppted duirng "days hour" but lately it doesn't bother me. In fcat I didn't care that I missed a good scene (or what lookd to be one) becuae I was being prepped for an epidural for delivery.

Anyways, That was one quick divorce that Carrie got. I mean she seemed to get the papers signed one day and be getting married the next. Isn't there a period of time that one has to wait for things to fonalize...oh wait. This is a soap. While on the Carrie topic did anyone else find it interesting that Marlana and Roman both took Carrie's side rather than remaining nuetral during the whole Carrie-Sami brawl. Sami was right to point out that Carrie has cheated on both her husbands and isn't an angel herself but it's Sami's mistakes that are remembered. As for Sami's drunk episode today, it was pretty good.

As for Willow, the line that she shouted at Mimi (something about hurting her) seemed rather childish. I was surpirsed that Max didn't make a snide comment. They just need to get rid of her. She's a pothole on Shawn's road back to Belle. Someone mentioned it before but Maggie letting Shawn and Wilow hook up would ahve never happened in the past. And there would have been a greater reaction to Shawn sleeping with a hooker, afterall he is from a classier family.

I was Pregnant with DS when Isabella died (like I wasn't emotional enough). He will be 14 in Dec. Its just amazing that Brady has been to war, had a kid, and is so wordly at 14 or 15. Shouldn't he be in high school? For that matter I don't think Belle should even be that old?

Back to the Ej & Sami thing. Up until last week, we liked seeing the hot chemistry between those two, it was fun, even if we knew EJ wasn't all that good. But then they throw out a true evilness to him, where he tells Kate he is enjoying his "job" because Sami screams fun in the bed, and then he reveals how much he hates the Brady's. Sami, for all she's done, has always been insecure and acted out on it, but truly wants to grow up and just be accepted. She deserves someone who will do that, not someone who is bedding the one person who hates Sami the most and playing out a role at the same time to get Sami in the bed. That is just I agree about Lucas, he is so double-minded he doesn't know what he wants. He is as irresponsible as sami has been, yet they portray him as the stable parent. Yeh, right

You do have a point- I must not have been paying much attention to the episodes lately- I didn't know EJ considered Sami a "job". Oh, well- I can at least still appreciate his looks... even if he is EVIL!! Actually, maybe he is a good match for Kate- she's pretty mean, too .

I think I know what they are going to do with Sami. On today's show Lucas said they wanted to act like a family again. Not move back or anything. Will said he forgave her for the Carrie thing and said she changed.

Anyway Bo came by and made it look like she was in trouble again so they left. I thought it was funny when Bo said he would take her to the station, thought he was suspended. He wanted to know about E.J. This is what I think they are going to do....have Sami get information for them on E.J. Lucas will think she is bad again but in reality she is being good.

E.J. told Kate that he is done with Sami and won't help Kate anymore to keep Lucas away from her. At the very end E.J. saw Bo leave Sami's.

Another weird thing happened with Lexi.... she came to the rescue and found a drug to help Kyla and Steve. Don't ask.

They also had a little of Belle and Shawn on today. Not to much there same old stuff. Shawn was being really mean to her.

I just found this thread! I've watched Days off and on for about 30 years (I'm 35, and I remember my mom watching it while we ate lunch when I was a little girl). Something hit me today while I was watching it, and since this thread is so long, I didn't go back to see if someone has addressed the same question, so forgive me if it has. But, didn't the Bradys adopt Frankie and Max? So, wouldn't that make Max Stephanie's uncle? OK, by adoption, but still?

I know, it's soap opera world, where kids age overnight, and people come back from the dead on a daily basis...I don't know why I even try to figure it out!

Yes,the Bradys did adopt them.And of coarse,Max was kid when Steve and Kayla were just starting to get together,but somehow he is the same age as their daughter

Well, and she was born in 1990, right before Steve "died", so she should only be 16 right now!

I love Sami and Lucas. I think there is something to true love really can't stay away from each other. If people would just let them be they would be very happy. EJ is good looking and seems to like Sami but we all know he is working for kate and nothing good comes from that. I was happy to see Lucas show back up at Sami's but these writers never let anything good last for long!!!

I agree with NAB r/e Sami and EJ. I think Sami is going to redeem herself in everyones' eyes by getting the goods on EJ and --I think--the soon to come Demera(sp?) connection. EJ is bad but he is still smoking hot and he and Sami do have some naughty chemistry. I do think Sami and Lucas belong together...eventually...but I don't mind seeing some sexy ya-ya between Sami and EJ for now.

I am among the many who wished Willow had fallen overboard never to be seen again. Shawn would have never slept with that skank...these new writers better get somewhere quickly with that storyline before they ruin Shawn and Belle forever.

What exactly is Bonnie planning to do with this baby once it is born? Sell it to Victor? I am so confused How will this baby make her rich?

I think Bonnie thinks it will get a trust fund or money because it is a it is Victor's grandchild. Just like she thought Mimi would get Shawn's money. She will blackmail someone. But I think it would be good if it did turn out to be Shawn and Belle's after all like someone on here suggested.

People are always switching babies or coming back alive on this show.

I am 100% not a fan of BB as Shawn. I really don't care for him at all in that part not to mention what the writer's are doing to Shawn, but somehow BB makes it worse. This was a big casting error IMO. He would make a terrific "bad guy" but I can never see him as Shawn. Just does not have the looks for him, BB is too hard looking. I sure hope Sami comes to the rescue and helps Bo with the info she finds out about EJ. I saw the preview for today's show but could not make heads or tails out of what Hope said to Bo.

I can not stand Willow either.....

Guess they don't haved any small childern on the show for Halloween, Theo and Claire are the only small ones left. They haven't had seasonal times on this show in a long time on day lasts for ever then they say it has been months
