I've quit watching. DH is still hooked, I just told him if anything interesting happens let me know. So far, he hasn't said anything, and I quit watching almost 2 weeks ago

I always feel like I'm losing brain cells watching this show. I normally just watch them all on the weekend and spend most of the time fast forwarding and yelling at the actors. I guess with soaps you have to drag everything out way longer then it should be.

If the head writer has been signed up for another 3 years I guess we know that the story lines probably won't change much.
Have you noticed how Beau & John have mentioned that they have been with their wifes for 20 years? I think it is a "set up" for the return of Kayla and Patch.

And Belle & Phillip, she's been crying for months how much she loves Shawn and now she wants to have another baby with Phillip.
I suppose this will lead up to them not being able to conceive and finding out that Shawn is Claire's biological father. ( A familiar storyline)

I just read in the new TV Guide that Jennifer WILL be leaving at the end of summer. I know I read somewhere that she was staying ecause of the Patch and Kayla storyline. Or maybe the senility that has been creeping up is now running full tilt.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought I was the only one! Makes me ill. I can't stand Mimi.

I'm not going to watch anymore, they act like their audience is stupid.

I deleted the TIVo for this week because I am going to Disney World and I need you guys to keep me up on the show . Shouldnt be to hard LOL there is nothing much going on over there . But I am counting on you : )

I have not been able to see this show for at least the last 2 weeks (I think the last thing I saw was part of Marlena and Alex's wedding). I tuned in yesterday..............I see I didn't miss much....Shawn and Mimi are still on their honeymoon....and Marlena hasn't yet left for hers!

Nice to know you can come back weeks later and they hold the show for you!!

I love Days of our Lives and have watched it for over 20 years, but the story lines lately have remained the same for so loooooooooooong and are becoming so repititious it is really very boring. I am so tired of the Carrie etal. situation. Lexie is really beginning to annoy me - wake up and do the right thing - Alex John Marlena the same exact thing over and over and over, I love John and Marlena but this story line has dragged on it is becoming impossible to watch, Bo, Hope, Billie and their daughter (so bored I can't even remember her name) again is just dragged on to long, again I love Bo and Hope but lets get this thing rolling;then we switch to Shawn/Mimi Belle/Philip - let's at least start to get these people with the right partners, make it interesting - and last but not least I miss JACK soooooooooooo much. Bringing back Patch and Kayla would be great I just loved them also, BUT PLEASE do it the right way. I doubt we will see much happening until May sweeps so we could probably all miss at least another week without anything of importance happening. If I see John with his high powered rifle and Roman sneak up on him one more time I think I will scream. Where oh where are the days of Stefano, Tony and Victor - they have made Victor a whimp - just like they did with J.R. and I think, in my opinion it really hurts the show. I loved when Victor was his powerful self, not to mention Stefano of course, then Tony did a good job keeping up the tradition. Someone, someone please come back.

Well I watched the Daytime Emmy's last night and I think we all need to switch to the Young and the Restless since they won for best writing, but wait, then what would be able to make fun of. Never mind scratch that last idea.

So, when are we going to see Chelsea without a bruise or scratch. I think she's been continuously injured for over a year. It's getting old.

I am also wondering when they are going to put Abby and Max together. I think they could have a great teen romance but they are both underused right now.

Just a couple thoughts I had while fast-forwarding this morning.

This show is getting worse by the minute. No way would some of these people move on so quickly. The nerve of the writer to get acting coaches. Duh, it's not the acting, it's the writing. I wouldn't blame them all for up and leaving and in a way, wish they would threaten with the offer.

This is some kind of Dimera doing (once again - boring). Tony mentioned before that no one will belong with the one they love or should be with. Well it's true. NO COUPLE is with the right person.

I'm another one who just fast forwards through practically the whole show. What have they done to my show?? Maybe if we all wrote to the producers of the show and told them how we feel it might make a difference.
