Would anyone care to sign my petition to DOOL requesting that John NOT take his shirt off EVER again?!?!!? Sure he was hot about 25 years ago, but now he's just lumpy and hairy. uuugggghhh!

I will!! They have played out these characters till there's nothing left. We need a new generation of romantic and snarky characters to carry this show forward. No more demons from hell type storylines either Aren't there any hunky Hortons still in a closet somewhere? Oooh, how about some of that Irish Brady blood coming in fresh off the boat!

Yes, new blood IS needed...and it's not that I don't like the older couples, but they keep putting them in the same darn storylines over and over...just rehashed or passed on to a different couple........

How many times can Bo/Hope/Billie get replayed? or Shawn/Mimi/Bell/Philip mess...same story just different characters...

I still harken back to the Patch/Kayla storylines...those days were so much better and Kimberly/Shane, those were the Days of Our Lives...

I hate to admit it, but it honestly makes me sick to look at him. The way he raises one eyebrow and sniffs.... uugggggg!!!

Wouldn't it be fun if they changed gears and focused on some of the other characters for a while? Who wouldn't love to see Maggie tearing up the sheets? She is a beautiful woman still...and I like Mickey, but this new Mickey It would be nice to see the elder Mr. Brady doing something besides showing up at family functions. Ah....we just need new blood

Yes! I call that his "smell the fart" acting. Remember on Friends, when Joey did the acting classes, and he told them about his technique for when he had to be intense and really thinking about something, he'd "smell the fart"? That's what I always imagine Drake Hogeston is doing when he is all squinty-eyed and that eyebrow goes up. Either he's "smelling the fart" or he's impersonating Clint Eastwood.

I missed most of the wedding here in the Boston area due to "breaking news", luckily there's Dustins site so I can read what I missed.

Is it just me or does anyone else find this Marlena/John/Alex thing lame? I mean, if John doesn't want Marlena to be killed, why is he aiming a gun at Alex at the wedding? She is standing right next to him. The possibility for a ricochet or a mis-aim are so apparent. Why doesn't he wait until they are married, and then follow them to wherever they spend thier honeymoon and go for the kill there?

It just makes no sense. Let's murder someone in a church with a whole bunch of people around.

And I really wish Belle would go away. Phillip is a tool but I wish him happiness with someone else, not Belle.

And whatever happened to Rex's twin? Where did she go? I didn't like her either but she seemed to just be gone one day.

...also, while we all are asking questions... I know Nicole has left the show, but in my fast forwarding through half the stupid/lame stuff, did I fast forward how they made her "go away"...?? I guess I missed the explanation..........yeah, I think we all agree that all the story lines right now are lame and re-takes from the past....they need to mix it up a bit and bring in some new characters....I did read in TV Guide I think that Jack comes back in May....after of course Jen and Frankie are heating up...

Guess they have such a lame story that they need flashbacks to fill in time.

OMG, don't tell me it's gonna last all summer!!!! After reading Dustin's spoilers, I decided I didn't really want to watch the show this week. But wouldn't you know, DH is hooked and still wants to watch it. Good Question, where is Cassie? I have a question, did Jan ever die?

I have no idea where Cassie is, but Jan is suppose to be somewhere in a coma.

Chelsea has a ton of story lines, I wonder if they are going to play out her court case all summer. I can't even watch the show, I just read the spoilers on Dustin's site too, that way I can skim over all the John/Marlena/Alex stuff.

Just the other day Austin commented briefly about Nicole falling in love with a soap opera star (I guess that was a pun about her real-life hubby and our former Brady) while overseeing HiStyle in LA.

Here's what I want to know about the whole Marlena/Alex/John wedding situation. Everyone FINALLY saw the big black gun poking through the vent and what did they do? They quietly ran upstairs to try to stop him. Ummm... hello? Why didn't you move the wedding party out of the target range??

Chelsea and the computer...if she wanted to delete a message, why didn't she just hit the delete button instead of the control key? Doing it that way, she'd have to hit, control D, which it didn't look like that to me. Such stupid writers.

I wonder how she got it forwarded to her computer first. You'd think once she had it sent to her computer/email, it would be forwarded to hope with Chelsea's email address. Unless of course she knew Hope's incoming & outgoing mail server to add that on her computer. She's also have to know Bo's so it looks like it was sent from his email account.

I think this would be more effective (than telephone pole risk):

Chelsea comes through the door talking loudly of course so Hope can hear:

"Hi mom, hi dad. Wow mom, I can't believe you got all your stuffed moved in so quickly without a moving company/van."

Hope would not like the fact that Billie & Chelsea are at her house with Bo and then double points for thinking Billie has moved in. In my opinion, highly more effective.
