Can anyone explain to me why I'm still watching this show? It's like watching a tragic car accident, you watch in shock, you know what's going to happen, yet you can't believe the horror is happening in front of your eyes

I haven't watched many of the episodes lately, but I found it odd that there were only a handful of people at Zack's funeral, yet a wedding hauls in thousands in Salem.

Why was there a valentine to Hope from Zach in his preschool box? He was hit on New Years Eve. School was closed from Christmas on, when was there time for a valentine? Silly I know, but I hate when things aren't thought out!!!

I thought the same thing about his funeral. Where were Doug and Julie and Shawn Brady Sr.? They were at the church, but not the funeral? Where was dear cousin Jen? How about Bo's brother Roman? Kimberly comes for weddings but not funerals? Again, small details, but it really bothers me!!!

I did find it interesting when Maggie and Gran informed her of how reckless Shawn was himself and could of hurt Belle, Phillip or anyone else at the wedding. She was very quick to backpeddle out of that one.

I'm glad I found you guys, set aside the fact that I am a big disney nut... I am a big fan of DAYS.

Why was there a valentine to Hope from Zach ... I THINK that was a Valentine from last years! It looked like she was going thru a box of Zacks things she collected. I wished that more of the family was at the funeral.

I can't wait to see Alex get his... I miss John & Marlena being together.. it's been too long.

I KNOW it's the nature of soap opera's, but I hate it when they mess too much with our favorite couples....and right now, they've messed with just about every couple there is........Bo & Hope just belong together...

Do you think Mimi is going to tell Shawn the truth or marry him anyway? Although they are cute together, I think Shawn and Belle are true loves...and we've discussed this before, I still like the original Belle...although not sure of her carrying the character the way she is portrayed right now......

Ok, I admit I have not checked the thread in days..since Zack got hit by Chelsea.

I've also missed a few shows since they were extending all the drama for every minute of air play they could get without missing Valentines Day.

So my question is....since when did Chelsea decide she actually LIKED her parents. One minute she was playing them for whatever she could get (or get away with) and the next she is trying to get them together again.

Did it just happen after the accident and everyone decided to cover for her?

Feel free to PM me or direct me to a post in this thread that explains when this happened. I don't want to bore the faithful fans of the show and this thread too much.

Yes, but here is where soaps get "crazy" with their time frame issues. Zach was hit and killed on New Year's Eve. It's now mid February and they are just now burying him? If that's the case, that's just plain weird!! If not, and it's approximately 5 days after his death, why would there be a Valentine in his school box for his mother - seeing that he was killed over his Christmas vacation. I don't know many schools who have their kids make valentines the week before they go on Christmas break.

Chelsea is still playing her parents. She is such a, well, you know. I want to smack her soooo bad!
That funeral would have been so different years ago. Everone in Salem would have been there. We need the old writers back.

I think she is just using them to try and stay out of jail and she really knows how to do it too. I see a mini Kate..ugh!

I know, I was thinking that preschool teacher is on the ball, making out Valentine Day cards in December.

It also is weird that it took six weeks to bury Zack.

How about the Dukes of Hazard fight with Bo in the bar.

Really, I know days/weeks/months even years have a way of either flying by or taking forever to happen in soaps, but to have had Zach die on NYE, then the funeral is on Valentine's Day? which there was NO doubt it was VDay as they were all out eating, proposing, getting ready to be married and receiving cards...........

In regards to the valentine Zak made Hope, how many 2 year olds do you know that can write that good? Because according to an earlier episode, Zak was only 2.

Shawn is the father of Belle's baby, Claire! It looks like she is to tell him on today's episode... unless the teaser at the end of the show is just that!

She knows that Claire is his child...............was going to tell him, but her mother convinced her not too....plus like all soap characters, she is selfish and wants Shawn anyway she can get him

I think Zack was definitely older than 2. I think he was supposed to be around 4. When Glen and Barb took JT, he was around a year old and that has been a few years. Of course soap timelines are warped!
