I may be in the minority, but I love the Marlena being pregnant storyline! I didn't see that one coming. I do hope they handle it properly though and have Marlena worried about pregnancy in your 50's, etc.. I was so busy waiting for Belle to be pregnant, that I never even thought of Marlena!

Remember when Marlena was pregnant with Belle and she seriously considered having an abortion due to her being "too old" to have a baby? Of course, this was only a few years ago (not 18) since they aged Belle by 10yrs one summer.

I would like to see Marlena and Roman get back together. Maybe Marlena and Belle could be pregnant at the same time, sorta like Father of the Bride part 2! I would want Marlena's baby to be fathered by Roman, and Belles baby to be fathered by Shawn. How long ago was it when they (Belle and Shawn) "had relations"? I don't even remember which one of them remembers it happening!! LOL

I am probably out of the norm, but really can't stand to look at John. The way he sniffs and raises one eyebrow, he always looks like he is smelling something bad, and then there is the way he talks, it's like he is always whispering! Yuck! I used to like him, I don't know when it changed.

I can't stand John eithier--NEVER found him attractive-actually he's repulsive. Now Roman (or really Mike K) is ok to look at-he doesn't make me go yuck! The first Roman was a little goofy looking but didn't make me go yuck eithier. The eyebrow thing has always drove me crazy.

Don't you mean "Chris K" (Kosichek)!! My mom always liked him....thought he was cute!

hehehe...this whole John thing...remember on Friends when Joey was on DOOL? he talked about "smell the fart" expressions/reactions...that's what I think of everytime I see John on screen!

Mike Horton........brother to Jennifer........1/2 brother to Lucas.......Boyfriend of Carrie, Sami's 1/2 sister....nephew of Mickey Horton, even though he thought Mike was his son for years (in that town, I'm surprised DNA testing isn't mandatory before you leave the hospital with your baby ) Mike was also a 'victim' of Salem's notorious "aging" water supply. He lucked out though......instead of getting older, he miraclously became decades younger. Way back in the 70's, he was an older teenager, who was having a relationship with Trish (who was having relations at the same time with Julie's son David). He returned to Salem in the 80's, being played by Michael Weis (The Pretender). He left Salem for Isreal to be with his wife and her son. In the 90's, he once again returned, as a new medical school graduate, doing his residency at the Salem hospital. I think that about covers it!

It's actually quite easy. My mom and I spent LOTS of quality time together watching DOOL. I remember her getting really mad at the villians, all teary during the 'tragic' scenes.........and especially her rooting for Bo and Hope to get together. My mom passed away from Altzheimers in 1997 and I try to always remember the good times. Let me tell you, we had some great conversations trying to figure out the plots (let me tell you, she would of LOVED Dustin's site!! ) When I started working, I would set my VCR to tape the show and she would wait for me and we'd watch it together.

How are they going to work Phillip losing a leg into the story? Obviously the actor has both of his legs. Are they going to have him in bed all the time so we don't see him walking around? If he is suppose to be a long time character, I don't know how they can pull this off.
I never thought about Tony being Marlena's baby's father, that would be interesting. This way she'll be tied to the Dimeras forever.

Today's episode already planted the seed for a prostesis (fake leg). My guess is this is how it will go.

Even with a fake leg, he'll have to limp around all the time. How long can they have him limping around?
I'm sure eventually he'll be walking normally and we'll just have to ignore it

Remember she slept with Roman on the island...........she has been keeping that secret. I figured that would happen to add another twist but geez she is kinda old for that story line!
