EJ having to be deported is so ridiculous. He's married to Sami, which automatically makes him a citizen. Even if they get divorced, he'll still be a citizen. What's the big deal? I'm sure they'll HAVE to stay married in order for him to stay

He was born in the Dimeria mansion, which automatically makes him a citizen unless he renounced it. I don't think being married to a citizen automatically makes you a citizen, you still need a green card to stay in the country.

I don't think so. DH and I have been married for over 8 years, and he just got his green card a month ago, which makes him a permanent resident not a citizen. He can still be deported if he does something bad enough.

But that could still be the plot of Days since the writers are so brilliant.

Anyone see the post on the CB about Patrick Swayze having Pancreatic Cancer. I hate that they are giving Bo this disease, and then have a miracle Dr. come in and save him. Why even go this route-this is a horrible cancer and for Days to say they have a new miracle procedure. I don't think Bo is going to get written off the show, but he will probably end up being dependent on pain killers-and then we get to see his addiction. I swear the soap writers steal story lines from each other. General Hospital just had Lucky addicted to pain killers.

I always thought once you are married to a US citizen, you automatically become one. In EJ's case though, he was born here as people have said. Another thing we have to overlook

Being married to an American makes it easier to get a green card (permanant resident), which allows you to stay in the country. It's not automatic, I know someone from Italy who married an American and they went through a thorough investigation to make sure it was not a marriage of convenience. They questioned them separately regarding the intimate details of their relationship.

I'm glad they are giving more storylines to Tony and Anna. I like them.

I feel exactly the same way. I even sorta got used to the new Belle, but the new Shawn just isn't doing anything for me.

As far as Bo's illness, and Shawn and Belle leaving.. their last taping date is this Friday, so they'll be on screen until about the end of this month. That gives this new doctor plenty of time to come up with a miracle cure for Bo, right?

Nicole coming back... bleh. Let her hook up with Philip and they can both go away. Then bring Brady back and put him with Chloe where he belongs. Only the real Brady, though - not a new actor. Since that's probably not gonna happen any time soon, I wouldn't mind seeing Max with Chloe. He's the only one of the "new" generation that I like.

Sigh... Why don't they bring Brandon back? He was sooo nice to look at

I loved Kristen and Jason... they were so cute together.

The new Shawn... who is it Brandon Beumer or something like that is going to Bold and the Beautiful... he is already signed. I think it's funny because his name is going to be Zach. He is going to be Hunter Tylo's younger brother.

I know it's weird but I still like Chloe with Phillip they both have matured and turned a little sinister.

I was out and saw the front of the Soap Opera Digest today.

Didn't get to read inside but it said something like Farewell to Bo. Is Bo leaving the show are they talking about all the stuff they are saying now before his operation. They sure have him looking really sick....

They said also on the cover about cutting out the love scenes between John and Marlena and fans outraged.... I am not a fan of the love drawn out love scenes. I did like the funny lines they did with Steve and Kayla before their love scenes.

I read that article in SOD...it appears to me that it was just an article about how Bo 'comes close' to dying...I've heard nothing about Peter leaving the show...think it is sensationalism to sell magazines JMHO It is making for a good storyline though and I loved the flashbacks of Bo/Hope. Seems Chelsea will be the match to help Bo out

I only got to read the front. I don't buy them because I only watch Days. I usually get to read them if I am in a long line. Then sometimes only get to see the coming and going people or VCR alerts.

Didn't watch much this week with my kids out for Spring Break but they are recorded.

How many of you were frustrated that Chelsea is the match and she's drunk! As soon as they showed her toasted, I said to myself, she's going to be the match, ugh. How long can they wait for her to sober up? They're acting like Bo has just minutes to live
