Wow, that is going to be some sad show. It will probably be a very good show too, mostly because the actors really won't be acting. I'm sure they all really miss her.

I read that they never broke character even when they wrapped up for lunch etc. and weren't filming.

I got this from this week's TV guide regarding Alice's funeral:

Days of Our Lives will celebrate the life and honor the passing of legend Frances Reid with a farewell that's unprecedented in soap history. The beloved actress who played Alice Horton from the show's debut in 1965 until her health became too fragile in 2007, died last February at age 95. On June 9 Days viewers learn that Alice is rapidly declining at which point several characters from the past will gather for a final visit.

Among the returning fan faves: Melissa Reeves, Jaime Lyn Bauer, Maree Cheatham, Lisa Trusel, Patsy Pease, Mary Beth Evans and Roark Critchlow. Alice's death on June 23 will be followed by a splendid memorial loaded with flashbacks.

"I'm so proud of our show for going the distance and giving Frances the goodbye she deserves" says Peter Reckell. "this medium can really chew up actors but Frances never let that happen to her. She demanded the best from herself and the rest of us. Right to the very end she was on top of people and giving advice even to the producers and that advice was always right on the nose. I am still crying from the promo. Francis Reid deserves this tribute and obviously, from the list of people returning for the funeral, everybody feels the same way. I can't wait to see this and cry along with the cast.

Kleenex is going to be needed this month when they do her funeral.

I wish the day would end , I do believe it is the next day but they still have Nicole in aqua shirt. Just keeping thinking what a long day it is, others are on morning scenes now too.

He has a goodbye to The Horton House. There is a video of the first Christmas in the living room and then other Christmases too. Then he has a you tube of the last eposide Alice was in Dec 2007 , it was the Christmas show.

I have watched Days it seems like forever. Loved Alice, can't wait to see all the "old" faces. Should be a good couple weeks although sad. Time to stock up on the kleenexes

I'm loving the return of so many characters from the past. Too bad they can't figure out a way to keep them on.

As for Daniel & Chloe, well, I'm tired of them PERIOD! As far as I'm concerned, those characters can be written off. I could do without Carly too.

Also sick here of the Chloe/Daniel thing. And the worried Philip look. And the disapproved Carly look. Really, they couldn't think of some exciting, horrible things to come of this to move it along?

I'm really getting sick of Brady, Nicole and Ariana. This whole love triangle thing sucks and Brady is so dumb for even giving Nicole a second thought. Boooorrrrinng.

I completely agree!! Chloe drives me bonkers. I'm really not looking forward to this whole pregnancy storyline that's supposedly going to happen. How many "who's the daddy" storylines can one soap opera have?? Yeah, I know...dumb question.

Some people think they may make the character gay. I'm not sure if this is true or not. Also, I don't think that he left because he didn't want to do the story line, I think the producers didn't think the old actor was the right fit for the new story line.

Geez we got another product placement today. Natures Valley trail mix clusters or something like that. Ali and Grandma Caroline love these apparently.

So Alice dies and her funeral is the next day That is fast.

My days are getting all mixed up. We have Chloe and Daniel on there wedding day still. Don't know the result of the test do we? But it is the next morning for some. Ok so now I remember Daniel did say the results but that is the last we saw them....do they get married now.

And did they tell Mike Alice was dead? I saw Jenifer go to tell the family he was in the hospital and Maggie say Alice died. But I am sure I saw a preview of them telling Mike she died. I didn't see that today. Maybe I missed it. Another thing how did Carrie know Mike was in the hospital? Did I miss that too.

Maybe I am fast fowarding too much because of Chloe/Daniel, Mia/chad etc.

Today Bill was telling Maggie he would be there for her. Was wondering if maybe they were going to keep this new Bill around. He isn't with Laura anymore, they said that when they showed up together.

Carrie came because she heard Alice was sick....and now is here for the funeral No Austin though. Or they just had her show up to make up with Sami....

We do not know what she found but I read a spoiler......I think Chad turns out to be a Dimera ( wrote it in white for you )

My show today will be the funeral so hopefully we don't see Chloe and Daniel at all.
