Days Inn in Vancouver

Has anyone stayed in the Days lnn in Vancouver before an Alaskan cruise? How was it, is it close to restaurants and could you walk to the pier? How was the area?

It was "nice." Cheap and in a great location. We got a 1 bedroom suite for not much more per night, which was quite roomy. You could easily walk to the pier (but with all your luggage, that would be a schlep, though we did it). Tons of restaurants nearby.

We were originally looking at it, but settled on Blue Horizon instead, which is another good budget option, as far as I can tell. I'll report back in a month.
