Well, it’s getting close to less than a week and we’ve finally agreed on a plan of attack.

Its been a few years since we did a standard fortnight (Saturday to Saturday) and we were struggling to fit it all in :headache: but think we’ve managed :surfweb:

I’d appreciate the thoughts  of the “experts” but please be gentle...

I know that the first few days will be mega busy (although compared not compared to Christmas) but I am not too worried about that ...:scared1:........:rolleyes1

Just counting down to checking in online tomorrow (7 days in advance!!!!!!!)

Can you not check in online now? It's always been 10 days in advance, unless it's changed recently. Asking that first because I'll forget by the end of my post

It looks fine to me from what you have posted. Yes, first week looks very busy - quite a lot of hopping - but I assume you have a car which will help a lot. You have also broken your trip midway with shopping and a waterparks day and your last full day looks fine too. Your MK day is likely to be VERY crowded - Saturday over Easter usually sees MK close to capacity over the weekend so I recommend you get there early and stay there. Once you're in you are fine, but if you leave and they close it, you won't be allowed back in until a sufficient number of guests have left, which is usually early evening. I think as long as you have it spaced out, which you seem to have done, you will be fine. You can always tweak as you go along if the need arises. :goodvibes

Thanks for the advice.

We thought we'd take the chance of MK on the Saturday after Easter, one because our friends want to go (one of them has lived in Florida for 30 years and have never been to Disney :scared1::scared1:) and also we've gone to MK on Saturdays before and been very surprised at how quiet it was (relatively speaking) and when we asked a CM about it they said that because most of the overseas tourist arrive or leave on Saturdays then this reduces the volumes visiting.

We'll see whether or not that plays out - if its too busy for us we can always try somewhere else and switch round some of the second week........

My main concern is IoA on the Monday after Easter - I think this will be our most challenging day for the crowds........

Do you know what? I think you will be absolutely fine. I just realised my mind has lost a week somewhere and I had your MK day as Easter weekend but it is the week after. This is great from our experience. We found that by the Tuesday or Wednesay after Easter the crowds are pretty much gone and there is a noticeable difference in crowds. Which makes that a very good day to do MK, as you had initially hoped.

Also with Easter so late this year, the Spring Break crowd won't be lagging behind after Easter either so all the better.

I can't help you on the Universal and non Disney parks though as we have only ever done Disney. April is a great time to go!! Enjoy. :thumbsup2
