Could someone tell me if the daybed in the Poly rooms would be OK for an adult female (about 5'4") ?? I called Guest Services there, & they said yes, but ......I know that the ones at BWV aren't big enough, which started me doubting again..Thanks!!

Definitely Yes, the daybeds at the Polynesian are the same size as a twin bed. It has a nice thick mattress on it, not just a foam pad like the ones the Yacht and Beach. This is a photo of one.

Thanks, Sammie! Now I can go to sleep in peace.......Being the planner for the girlfriends' trip is harder than taking my whole family!! Details, details.......

Sammie is correct.

In fact when we stay at the Poly, one of my DD's will choose to sleep on that instead of sharing a bed with her DS!

Of course her DS doesn't mind....she gets the larger bed to herself! ;)

do all the rooms at the Poly have these day beds. I hope so because god forbid that my 2 DS (12 & 16). One would rather sleep on the floor than share a bed!

I'm 5'10 and I've always been comfortable on the daybed at the Poly. They're often a bit softer than the real beds, so at times I even prefer them!

I don't know about the suites but other than that all rooms at the Polynesian have two queens and a daybed....gotta love that resort!

Are the daybeds at the YC comfortable?? We are staying there in May and will need the daybed as it will be my DH, 2 DS's, my sister and myself. If they are not as comfy we might consider switching since we've considered it anyway. If it weren't for SAB it'd be such an easier decision.

We've not stayed at the YC but at the BC the daybeds are considerably smaller than the one's at the Poly. The rooms are smaller too and lose even more space to the seperate vanity area which is a nice amenity but I'd rather have the space. I believe the rooms at the YC are the same as BC other than decor and balconies.

The daybeds at the Yacht and Beach are the same and would be ok for a small child. They are shorter, narrower and the mattresses is more a foam pad than a mattress. To me the resemble a setee more than a day bed.
