Day Visitors to SAB

My wife and I will be staying at the BCV in Spring. My daughter will be staying at her timeshare resort off property. We would like to have her and the grand kids over to swim with us at SAB. They would be considered day visitors of mine as a registered guest. I have never had a problem with day visitors but I am very curious about other experiences that people have had with this issue.

I know I can simply give my wife's ID card to my daughter and that would solve the problem but that's not what I am looking to do.

Please share your experiences.

You would have to put their names on your reservation as well. The pool attendants require Resort ID for everyone in the party.

I stayed at BC in August for a week and saw them checking everyone for ID and issuing wristbands. People were asked to leave the pool area if they did not have wristbands.

I do not think your guests would be allowed at SAB, although you could always ask and see what they say.

As an alternative idea ~ why not meet them at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon for the day?

There are signs at the pools that say they are for the exclusive use of the guests of Beach Club/Yacht Club/Beach Club Villas resorts. They checked for wristbands when we stayed there. Everyguest had to show a room ID to get a wrist band.

Unfortunatley at SAB that probably won't work...they are extremely strick about making sure every person in the party has there resort ID....You could ask at the front desk prior to inviting them and see if they would be able to ....but from what I've heard just showing up at the pool would probably not work...

The simplest solution would be to just add their names to your reservation and have them get ID's when they arrive.

You are allowed four even in a studio, so the number of people is not a problem. It is not like you are inviting a large group that is staying at another resort, you are having family members join you. I am sure some people will respond that this is against the rules, that only "resort guests" can swim at SAB. You are resort guests. I wouldn't hesitate to do this for one second, but I would only go up to room capacity and only for immediate family. Above and beyond that I would go to a water park.
