Day Two - Whinning Report

I am up again around 5 am. I am ready for the new adventures of the day.

I put on my coolest pair of shorts - to withstand the heat.

I put on my sun screen.

I make sure I have my sunglasses.

I make sure I have my new hat with the special new hat pin.

Pin books packed - I am ready to go.

And then I realize I am home and not in Disney World.

Shorts off.

Sun Screen off.

Sunglasses unpacked.

I do not have a new hat with the special new hat pin.

Unpack the pin bags - no one at work to trade with.

Business suit on.

And off to work.

Welcome to my world.

the whiners were all practicing our whining last night. Today we will be in even better shape as we look at the pictures of all the pin lanyards.......Waaaaaa we want to trade too! I just know that I could find great pins on all those lanyards! I wish i could send my little fish traders there and get them to send themselves back. I want to be there.

You guys really want something to whine about???

DH and I visited WDW in late April with friends who had not been in awhile and were clueless about pins...even thought I was a little addled with my hobby.

Guess what?? Upon our return home, they had accumulated several pins and were intrigued, to say the least.

I'm in Massachusetts, but one friend is from R.I. and knows several jewelry people in Providence, "the jewelry capital". Two weeks after our return, he called to say a friend (some friend) had Disney "Award" pins that were kinda cute. His company had access to them. I don't know in what capacity...plating, finishing, whatever. Most Disney pins say "Made in China" but this man had them and our friend saw them. None were available to be had as this jeweler is discreet, but I would have loved to have seen them.

Yesterday, what was introduced?? Adorable Award pins...Clean Your Plate, Best Reader, Good Manners, etc. They are sooo cute! I want two of each and to think!! They were right nearby and I couldn't even see them!!

Now, that's something to whine about...........
