Does anyone have any advice/comments about a day trip to DLRP?

Been sitting here for hours reading all the posts and now really think I need a quick fix before March! Or do you think it'd take away some of the excitement about our 'proper' trip?

I think we could do it for about £250.

I'm getting to the stage where that actually sounds perfectly reasonable.
Help!

I personally wouldn't.

I think a day trip would be such a rush, March will come round super quick - and if you only went for a day you would be rushing about and wouldn't have time to slow down and savour the magic!

I'd save the £250 and have lots more spending money, or upgrade your hotel or something...

We live to far to travel for a day trip to be pratical but there are a few members who have done so.
There is possibly a report in the trip report board. Worth having a look at the index :)

I did a day trip last March with DD, i would recommend it for a quick Disney fix.

I made a list of the things we could do in the time frame we had and we managed them all with time left over aswell.

Both myself and my sister are going to drive down from Sheffield for the pin event at Phantom Manor on Friday 13th March then drive stright back !
Hows that for a bit of Pin madness:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I don't think I would a Day Trip, an overnight stay maybe if I lived nearer the Eurostar stations, March isn't that far away, I'm counting the days to mine too. If I had £250 spare I'd be more inclined to put it to one side ready for the next trip, let's face it there'll be one. :)

Think DBF is against the idea anyway, so looks like more spenderoonies rather than an extra trip.

But then if Dream Annual Passports are about £180-£190....

Ohh, decisions! ;)

Not sure about an upgrade, we're staying in SL, and when we booked they said we had a Montana room, but the confirmation came through as a standard room, which implies the Lodges. :sad2: Still waiting for that to come back before we do anything else. :coffee:

I would only do a day trip if my trip was months and months away though.
