Day trip to HH??

I am going to HH for an afternoon while I'm in Savannah just to check it out. What should I make sure I see?? Any good souvenirs to bring back the kids?? Thanks

Take the kids a picture of Shadow's doghouse. It's near check-in entrance.

Other good pictures- hammock, pool, pool table in Big Murgie's Den.

There are pins for the HH resort.

How about a copy of the week's activities to show the kids what there is to do there?

Visit the beach house and pool. Also go out to the beach. Many times we have seen dolphins right off the beach. So much to do and so little time!

You may not be able to get to the beach house and pool, unless you are able to talk someone at the resort into giving you a parking pass/gate permit for Palmetto Dunes.

You might also want to spend a little time exploring other parts of the island -- you can pay the $5 for a Sea Pines pass and go to Harbourtown and South Beach. I also like to spend time checking out all the cute little shops that are all over the place.

You won't have any trouble filling your time.
