Day trip during march break

We are going to orlando for the first time during March break ( march 10th-15th). We generally go every year in August and always stay on site so I don't know what to expect. We would really like to do a day trip to epcot.

For those who have done this before staying off site is it way too crazy busy to attempt?

Just go on a recommended day. Check easywdw.com for his calendar and day by day park recommendations.

DO NOT go on an EMH day.

Get there at rope drop.

Use your fast passes wisely.

You'll be fine.
