I went to New York City for a day last Saturday. It was a lot of walking all day long so I took a lot of shots. I used both of my DSLR and M4:3. Can you tell which picture came from which camera??
Good work capturing some scenes of the city! Angled frames are not always my favorites but some of these work really well to give a sense of the tension and movement of the scene.

I was thinking the same thing. Some of the angled frames made the picture pop while it looked like you might have overworked that style in some of them. Great shots though. Never been to NY. I'm guessing the night shots were not taken with the slr?

I often shoot without looking through the viewfinder and rely mostly on autofocus as I was walking. I just raise or lower my arm with the camera, aim the subject and shoot. Some time I get a more level shot but angle shot most of the time. Since I don't like to crop or adjust my pictures other than PP, so most of my shot comes out just the way it is.
Example, the Time Sq shot was taken while I was riding in my friend's car. As the car move, I just stick my arm out on the roof and shoot. Setting the shot was not much of an option.
Personally, I think the angle shot give the photo a little more depth but not always the case.
All the night shots were taken by my DSLR. The GF1 still fall a bit short when it comes to low light.
Gianna'sPapa, we were there on Saturday. While we did pass B&H since we came out of Lincoln Tunnel and took the West Side Highway, but I think B&H doesn't open on Saturday. Otherwise, my wallet will be a lot lighter. LOL...
I will add a little footnote later tonight next to each photo to show which photo shoot by which camera.
