Our very last day! How did the trip go by soooooo fast? I was up very very early in the morning . And it was just NOT my morning! While DH was in the shower, I picked up the digital camera and started playing around with the buttons. You guessed it! I deleted 3-1/2 days of photos!!!! :furious: Wiped them entirely off the card!!! Try telling *THAT* to your DH when he gets out of the shower!! LOL! Actually, I think I waited until we were at the bus stop before mentioning it (or maybe we were already on the bus before I ever so casually said something about the blue screen on the camera :rolleyes1 ) !! Always safety in numbers! LOL!

Packed our bags and checked them with bell services since our flight home was not until 8:30 pm. and headed out to the Magic Kingdom first. We spent our last day flying around 3 parks trying to recreate some of those lost pictures. Some will never be recreated again like the FLAT Pink picture with Aurora/Sleeping Beauty holding her (awww, makes me so sad). :( We spent about an hour and a half running around MK getting photos, then we headed over to Epcot for our last lunch at Le Cellier Steakhouse. This is probably my favorite restaurant at WDW, but sadly, my favorite lunch entree was gone from the menu :( At least the Canadian cheddar cheese soup was still there and yummy as always :) Both DH and I had the soup to start with, and we both had a steak dish for entree. Guess what I had for dessert? :) and guess what DH had for dessert? LOL! OK, time to roll out of here...

After our late lunch, we headed over to MGM for one last ride on.... you guessed it! :) and to get some more pictures ;) ... We rode Tower at least 3 times, then rode Rock and Roller Coaster. I dragged DH over to the Little Mermaid show and then we caught another act of the Citizens of Hollywood (after first running into Improvgal from Dis!! :wave2: what a coincidence to see her! I had met her at a Dis Meet in Boston the week before) Back to the resort to grab our bags and wait for our Magical Express bus to take us back to the airport :( I HATE the dreaded walk out of the park back to the hotel knowing you will not be back.... It's really like a death march to me!

Trip back to the airport was uneventful (what can you say about that?) Caught my last glimpse of a palm tree from the window of my plane.... ok, so now I'm going to start crying again...

BUT... I am now an official "Annual Pass girl", so when am I going to go back next? :lovestruc

Yay! Finally, a picture to post!! :) DH and I at the Rose Garden at Magic Kingdom on our last day... :guilty:

yeah.... I believe what she actually said was... "Oh, I think there's something wrong with your camera. :confused3
I was most amused at how the details came out... it was like asking my son about a dent in the front fender of the car... you get as few details as they think you will settle for before dropping it and moving on... :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Funny I like pink dont remember alot of the details of the moments of our trip but I remember that conversation like i wrote it all down... :rotfl:

I am very sad about the memories we lost there, (considering both of ours are fading fast), but live is always better than "memorex".... and need I remind you that I lost 3 years worth a while back? ;)

Thank you so much my friend for taking me on your trip through your reports. I'm feeling all verklempt now as I read about you getting back on the plane.

On a lighter note..Judging by all the chocolate that DH consumed on the trip he just might qualify as honorary Zeta now! My kind of crowd! :thumbsup2

OMG! I loved your trip reports. I have got to find Day 3. Very entertaining. I am sure you had a great time. BTW - What happens when you upgrade to an AP? I have 2 upcoming trips and am considering an AP in the future.

And I'm completely not surprised you met Improvgal at MGM. I happened to know she had a trip around the same time as you, and she enjoys those Streetmosphere players, too. So if she's in MGM, that's where you'll find her. It's wacky that you saw her a week later, though!

Too funny.

And yes, Blue's high consumption of chocolate makes him honorary Zeta
in my book. ;)

Wow, Pink and Blue, I really enjoyed your trip report. I thought I was the only weirdo to cry at those "Disney moments."

I want to thank you So much for your awesome trip details!!. I am still laughing over the "weiner" episode. :rotfl2: Turtle talk has always been one of my favorite attractions since you never know what questions the kids are going to come up with. I think this one takes the cake. :thumbsup2
Thanks again for sharing :sunny:

Sorry Mek! I just realized I never answered your question! I had a 6-day park hopper with water park features (which I got the hopping & features for free as part of the promotion they were running at the time). I took it to Guest Relations at Downtown Disney (you can also visit Guest Relations at any park - just don't do it at a hotel). I inquired about the price, and he when he said it was only $130 to upgrade to an AP, I jumped on it! LOL!

Hope this helps! And sorry I'm so late in responding!

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for sharing.

Bravo!

Enjoyed your report very much -- especially the comments from your DH! He sounds like a Keeper (I have one of those too!) :teeth:

Great report! I love that you knew exactly what you wanted to do and you did it, without worrying about not seeing everything. I hope I can be as relaxed on my trip! You DH is quite the character.....:rotfl:
