First...I apologize for starting a new thread on this topic, but I cannot seem to be able to search to find the old threads. I know there have been some recently and I have gone thru I don't know how many old pages and still cannot find it.

Can anyone help me out with information on the "day rooms" in Nassau for Atlantis? I would like to know the cost for one (does it vary at different times of the year?) and what all it entitles you to use, do, etc.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Don't apologize... that's how we learn! You can get a room at Atlantis but it's very expensive. Most people opt to get a room at the Comfort Suites because they have privileges at Atlantis and it's much cheaper. The best deals are usually on their website.
Now, with that said, you have to realize that booking the room is a gamble because of the weather. If it rains, you won't have much fun there. That's why we opted to go to Cable Beach instead... just in case! I am so glad we did because it's free there and we love it. There is no aquarium and the waterslide isn't a big but the beach nice, there are watersports, swim up pool, casino, etc. and best of all.... now crowds.

Okay, so I am new to what one can and cannot do while at Nassau! Do I understand that if you get a 'day room' at "Comfort Suites" then that would give you access to Atlantis? Does that mean you could use the slide? Is there an age limit to use the slide? DS who is 9 would love to give that a try!

Taxes & surchages on Comfort Suites rate - the rate I was quoted was $192 (feb), without taxes, etc. but I'm wondering how much more in taxes & surcharges there are? I see 12% tax but thought I read about some other charges in addition.

Also, we have 5 but MIL won't use the pools/slides so I just said 4.

And don't forget it will be another $40 round trip cab ride for a family of 4. That's an expensive day. But yes, you can use the slides if you stay at the Comfort Suites. Personally, I prefer Cable Beach. It's free. And if it rains, I stay on the ship and don't lose any deposits. But that's just me!
