Day rate rooms at Disneyland Resort Hotels

Does anyone know if Disneyland hotels ever do day rates? Anyone have experience with this? My folks live about 7 minutes from DL, but by the time I get to car, etc....takes a lot longer.

Would like to have options for putting DD2 down for a nap the next few times we go.


We may end up just booking a room at one of the hotels if we can get a good rate with our APs, or travelocity...

But I'm still curious about the day rate thing...guess I could call the hotels directly.

I have never heard of the DLR hotels having "day rates". In fact, I have never heard of ANY hotel doing this. I am assuming by "day rate" that you want the room for the daytime only ( not overnight). I believe that you would have to get the room for the whole night. I would check for AP rtaes...more than once if you cannot get one right off!

Thank you for the advice about AP rates. I am planning to check into this. I swear that somewhere I heard something about day rates..they do this at some hotels.

Maybe I was thinking about DL resort hotels doing late checkout, I just need a room from 12-3 or something like that and when you stay over only for one night, you usually have to check out by 11am..... and on the night you check in, you usually can't check in until 4pm....b/c they clean the rooms during that time.

I would not mind staying overnight if I could find a way to accomodate DD2s nappy time.
