Is there a certain order we should try and get to the rides in the morning, or since we'll have FOL, (we're staying onsite,) is a plan not necessary?

I would not worry about what and where to start, just go and ride what you want and when you want at your leisure. Staying on-site will spoil you.

We try to ride the couple rides that do not have express lanes first before they get really long lines...

Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket

Pteranodon Flyers (This attraction is designed for children 36" to 56" in height. Guests over 56" in height must be accompanied by a child meeting the 36" height requirement.)

If you're going after Harry Potter opens, I would say head there first and then take your time on the rest of the park. If you're going before, do the P Flyers first if you have kids as this attaction does not honor Express...it's a slow loading coaster so the lines get very long...very fast.

At the Studios...head for the Rockit first and then do whatever you want.
:thumbsup2

Definatly want to go on Rip Ride Rockit, so I'll be sure to make that our first stop. Same with the Flyers. I'm glad they're at different parks so we don't have to choose one over the other.

No, Harry Potter won't be open yet, unless we get lucky and there's a soft opening. I'm not too concerned though since I'll be there again later this year.

Does the Simpsons ride use Express Pass? I read somewhere that it didn't, but the official Universal site says it does. Just want to make sure.

I would not worry about this. If you are staying in Universal then all you should really need to do is to take your time around the park and do all of them, like a another DISer said "if you are going when harry potter opens", then you should do the two parks in two days and then come back one half day and do harry potter to experience it proply. Thats what i would do.

I had one year did the two parks in one day, i wouldnt recommend this because you dont get the whole feel at being at the Studios. This year we only did Universal Studios Florida and I had felt that we actually got the experience back from the last year.

Just to make sure also you do Revenge of the Mummy, The Simpsons Ride, Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket etc. first because these are the types of rides that will be busy

I think I may do the Simpsons second, I think that's the ride I'm most excited about.

Simpsons is a great ride.Do this tho,ask the TM, when he starts putting you in line, for the second level. They are three tiers and the second one (to me) is the best.

Just alittle insider info from someone that has rode it 50plus times!!:thumbsup2

Thanks. I think I read that in a book I have too, which also said Express Pass users automatically were in the second level, so I guess that's a good place to be! :goodvibes
