Day pass at resort?

This doesn't make sense to me for a room only reservation. I'm not saying its wrong but it's not at all fair. My cousin lives a few hours outside of Orlando and we talked about her coming for a weekend with us. So let's say we are booked for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the BC. She wants to drive up and stay with us Saturday so we add her to the reservation for Saturday and she stays, eats, shops, etc but isn't allowed in the pool? That just doesn't seem right.

Only if you add the extra person for the entire stay. Otherwise they get a KTTW that only opens the door, but does not allow access to SAB.
This can't be and isn't correct, no matter what some part time Cast Member says. Let's say a couple have a reservation for 14 days, during which time their 20 year old daughter stays with them for 7 days only, because she has to leave early. Are you saying that because the daughter isn't on the reservation for the full 14 days she can't use SAB during her 7 day stay? To suggest that she can't use SAB because she isn't there for the full 14 days of her parents reservation is just ridiculous.

Good luck on getting to add your cousin for one day to a room only reservation at BC - they refused to do that. Our daughter & BF had to be on the room the entire time but they were allowed entrance to SAB. They were only there 2 of our 4 days.

Sounds like this post is completely off the question.

I get the impression that the OP is at a conference at Swan/Dolphin and that possibly Grama and kids are already going there with her to also enjoy Disney together.
But, at least one day she will be completely involved in whatever she is there for. She doesn't want to send Grama and kids off alone someplace far and is just wondering.

1) no, you can't buy a pass for BC

2) someone suggested renting the cheapest room for one night. You would list all 4 of you as the family staying there that night. Just like any random person. That could be pricy, but as one person said, probably close to the cost of 3 water park tickets.

Taking apart the fact that these people may be staying at S/D, any random Family can go and rent a RO reservation at BC. Of course you would be able to use the pool.

Whatever all this other niece stuff and all these days staying there and adding a person for one day doesn't sound like it applies to what the OP is asking or what another person suggested. I just don't want OP to confused by this and not understand the good information some people have given.

I sure hope my family and I can swim in SAB as we have booked room only reservations and when I did they asked me who is staying there. I'm sure if OP made a RO reservation there, they would ask her as well. Of course she would list the names of the Grama and kids.
