Day One - Whinning Report

Woke up around 4:30 am thinking had to get ready to go to the parks and get in line for something. Then I realized I was not at the All Star, but at the Riley household.

And then I realized I had to get up, but to go to work and not to pin trade - poor me.

And not only that - it is 73 in Orlando now and it is 83 here with record breaking heat expected today.

So as I sweat and not trade pins everyone there can sweat and be trading pins - sounds like a better deal to me.

I am not bitter - I just want to be able to play.

This is harder then I thought - maybe if I call Southwest - maybe I could get a flight - maybe they will not miss me at work if I do not show up - maybe someone there will trade pins for a room to stay in -

Ruthie call me - I will drive - I have a new PT Cruiser (pin trading cruiser) we could be there by tomorrow - we can do this.

I have not given up yet.

Kidding. It is stuffy in my house and stuffy at work with highs in the upper 90's today. Yech, would rather be hot and pin trading than hot and working. Oh well.

Darlene...you may be the Whiner Club President but I can whine better than you. I have three daughters and four grandaughters and after listening to whining for 36 years (my oldest daughters) I can copy it better than anyone!

OK, maybe I am too weird, but I still have not seen a picture of a pin from this event that makes me feel like whinning about not being there!
I am hoping to see more interesting pins among the surprises, but yes, it would be real fun to mingle with a large bunch of collectors, I'll give you that.

Well, if the chat room is kind of empty tonight, we can play and trade!

Can I join the club???

WAAAHHHHH !!! - I want to be at WDW instead of stuck here in College Station.
Why does my daughter's college break have to be this week?
Does she really need to pack for the fall semester?
Do we really need to pay for college? That money could have been put to use for a trip to the big event at WDW.
Wouldn't a trip to WDW be educational enough???

My family just doesn't understand that I really NEED to go.
Most of my pin pals are getting to go. It's not fair.
I feel sooooo left out.

Whew - now I feel a little better, but I would feel GREAT if I was heading to WDW!

I'm going crazy because I WANT TO GO TO THE BIG PIN EVENT !!!!!!!
