Day of check-out question

DD and I will be spending one night at grand floridian and going to MK the next day. Can we check out and still use the monorail to and from the park that day before we leave that night?

You can. Your park ticket is good all day regardless of your resort stay, so ride that monorail as much as you want.

Disney transportation is open for all to use regardless of staying onsite or visiting from offsite.

Don't know if things have changed due to Covid, but it used to be the policy that you retained all guest privileges at your resort until midnight on your checkout day. Once when we had a late flight our kids swam in the resort pool in the afternoon and changed in the pool restroom/shower building before we caught Magical Express.

Just a note that currently the showers in the pool area are closed at Pop. I'm guessing this might be the same at all Disney resorts.
