Day by Day Reservations

I'm going to make a reservation at the 7mo window soon for BWV. I've been told by MS that that timeframe is wide open with availability, but since I want standard she recommended calling day by day.

Now this is a 9 night stay, will I have 9 confirmations (actually 18 since I'm looking for a 2br & a studio) to check in with, or once I have all nights secured will they transfer into 1 confirmation.

Seems like a lot of work to me....

You will end up with one confirmation for the entire stay. What happens is you call at 7 months out from the day after you check in. You book that night, and tell MS what you are doing. They will hold off on any reservation confirmation sheet until the reservation is complete. You also give them any requests that first day, the names of the guests, etc.

After the first day, the next 8 days of phone reservations only take about 30 seconds once you reach MS. You call, give them your member number and tell them you're adding another night to your existing reservation. In your case, you'll take a bit longer as you are doing two different villas.

Once you are finished, MS will mail you one confirmation.

It's painless really, and worth it if SV is important to you.

On the first date you call, let MS know that you will be adding to this reservation on a daily basis until all 9 days have been secured.

With each successive call, remind them that you are adding dates to your existing reservation and ask that they wait until the reservation is complete before sending the confirmation. When completed, you will have one reservation and one confirmation letter for the entire stay.

The only loophole would be if one of the middle dates is not available and you might need to waitlist. In that case, you would have two reservations - but once the waitlist comes thru you will still have a fluid stay where you will not have to switch rooms.

Just let MS know your plan and allow them to guide you thru the reservation process.

Be sure to remind MS when the ressie is complete. Twice they have failed to send us the ressie confirmation when the MS person forgot about the final day necessitating that the confirmation should now be sent.
