At the 7 month mark is it best to book day by day and worry about waitlisting for maybe 2 of 7 seven days or just wait til 7 months out of checkout date abd then know for sure what i can reserve immediately. This will be our first time home as we just purchased in May and are looking for a late Jan. 07 trip to BCV or BWV. Please set our "nervous nelly" minds at ease. :surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb:

Member Services is really helpful with this too. Call the first day you can call and go ahead and book that first night. Then ask them if they think you need to call day by day or if you can wait until the end. Depending on how much availability there is in the unit type you want they will advise you accordingly. I have never had them steer me wrong! Also, I think you'll be fine for the end of January. Good luck!

I wait listed "day-by-day" with automatic confirmation for Vero Beach right at the end of July, which is during a busy season.

My wait list has filled very nicely and we are going to get our trip, staying in a 2-bedroom villa.

If I got mine filled during a busy time of year, I suspect you will be fine if you have to wait list for a slower month like January. I suspect you might actually be able to get your reservation filled the first time you try. Good luck. :wave2:

Actually July is a relatively slow time for the Treasure Coast at least compared to Xmas to Easter.

January is not a difficult time to book, and as long as you stay away from Martin Luther King's B'day, you should be able to do the whole thing at the 7 month mark. It somwhat depends on what size unit you are wanting as well.
