so.... I thought I'd post our experience here,as FP+ questions are the biggies here.... On May 6 at about 3 pm,we bought 2 one day PH tix,so my(2) teens could hit the parks the next morning (Saturday) it's Mothers Day weekend so somewhat busy,it seemed pretty busy with a lot of locals,etc at hotels. I myself didn't go with them, but as soon as we got the tix, we logged in on the phone to MDE,and they decided to use their FP+ at the last park of their day,MK after dinner,since they wanted to close it down at midnight or 1- they had no issue getting FP right then for 3 faves, Pirates, Space Mountain,and Thunder Mountain,and they even rode the 7 Dwarves ride during fireworks at 10(they knew enough to hit that line when it was shorter) and said they waited about 20 mins to get on even that.
This was our first experience booking FP+ that close to the day of visit,and it worked out just fine. (They even had time to spare for a nice TS dinner too!) they hit all 4 parks,starting with AK at early emh....and had a great day,riding their favorites multiple times(single rider when they could)
