Are the daybeds at the AKL really usable as a bed or are the glorified couches?

If anyone knows a web site with a picture of one I would appreciate it.

We are going Sept 26-Oct 5 and want a king bed, but with DD we need a daybed or we have to go with bunks and a queen bed

Thanks for the help

The daybed we had was MUCH better than the other ones at Disney deluxe resorts. It seems like a normal couch not just a large bench with cusions.

You unlatch the back and it folds over with a real mattress on it! Those who slept on it said it was comfortable ( I was stuck on the top bunk of the bunk bed).
I have seen pictures of some rooms that have a chair version that supposedly folds into a single bed as well. I am not sure how that one works though it looks similar to the couch.

They do pull out into a bed that would be perfect for a child, but not for an adult. I would say no one over 5 foot tall. Just my opinion.

Are there daybeds in the standard rooms or is this just for deluxe?

I think the larger sized couch day beds are only in the deluxe rooms with the smaller ones being in the king standard. BUT.... I am not sure. :)
