Day at Freeport & 'lil swimmers ??

Ok, I hate to do this, because I know it's been asked a million times, but the search function is 'off' now. What would you suggest doing during the stop at Freeport? I know alot of people recommend staying on the ship, but my dd isn't potty-trained yet, so we can't really go hang out at the pool. She has had swimming lessons, and will not understand why she can't get in the pool like everyone else. So, any suggestions would be fabulous!

If you purchase her those new swimming diapers from Huggies..i forget the name and they are already packed, or I would look them up...they are completely leakproof and allowed in the pools of Disney and DCL.



They are available at CVS and local grocery stores..If they are not available in your area, if you would like to give me the size you need (2T, 3T or 4T) I would be happy to buy them and mail them to you. Are you cruising on the Nov 29th Magic or Nov 30th Wonder...We are going out on the 30th...I would be happy to bring them with me and give them to you on the ship if we are on the same crusie!

Actually children that are not potty trained are not allowed in the pools aboard the ships. This information is posted on the DCL website.

They have a 'fountain play area' in one of the Mickey ears in the children's pool that is for those using swim diapers/non potty trained children.

No type of swim diapers are allowed in the pools, if the child is not potty trained they can play in one of mickeys ears in the fountain thing but they can not swim in the pools on the ship.
In Freeport there was an excursion we did to Our Lucaya, it was called the Lucayan Beach Day and it was really nice for my 2 1/2 year old. She swam in the pools there and you are just feet away from the beach so you can go back and forth...it was very nice there.
