Day 8: Goodbye

This morning the music playing from the speakers in the little bushes along the walkway to the food court was going, “Na na na na. Na na na na. Hey hey hey. Good bye.” At exactly 9:20 am I stepped out my door and started walking to Blizzard Beach. I arrived 30 minutes later, once again enjoying the pleasant shade along the sidewalk. I walked right in and waited a few minutes in the small crowd for the rest of the park to open at 10 am. I climbed the stairs and slid down the slides in my new blue trunks until it was time to go. I waited at the All Stars bus stop for just less than five minutes. I packed my bags and had a cheeseburger without the cheese with fries and ketchup and about four mugs full of Coke. The Mears bus was right on time. If you are going from WDW to the airport, you may want to sit on the left side (looking forward) of the motor coach because the sun was pretty hot as I sweltered in my right side seat.

When the plane arrived in Cleveland I saw the mom I’d met on the plane ride down to Orlando. She said they were all tired and they’d had a wonderful time.

The End

Good reports, billy. I've often thought about going by myself, and wondered what I would do. It sounds like you really enjoyed going and doing exactly what you wanted.

Very much enjoyed your reports, Billy. Thanks for taking the time to write them.

Kind of amazing to hear that song as you know you're leaving. One more example of WDW detail. On any given morning it must strike a goodly percentage of guests that it is speaking to them!

Thanks for posting your reports. It's weird how things come full circle with you seeing that same family. Sounds like you had a good time and did all the things that YOU wanted to do.

Thank you for your trip reports Billy. It sounds like you had a really nice time. I am amazed by people who have good times on trips alone, as I am really a people-needy person.

After all your resort hopping, have you decided where you'll be staying next time?

No. But I hope I'll not have to make that decision alone again. :chat:

I have really enjoyed reading your trip reports. If I was a betting person, I would place a bet that your next trip won't be alone. Take care! :D
