HOLD IT!! BACK UP!!! I cannot believe I forgot to tell you guys what happened Tuesday Night!!!!
Back to Day 5-Tuesday
That evening after we returned to CBR. Grumpy and Pan wanted to go for a swim. They wanted to take the kids, but it was 10:00pm and we had a character breakfast the next morning so the moms vetoed that idea. (Besides they had already broken into a bottle of Grey Goose and a bottle of V-O)
Grumpy said they'd only be gone about 20 minutes.
Everyone went on to bed. At 1:30am DN wakes up and there is no Grumpy beside her. She flies out of the bed. There is no Grumpy in the room. She has a mini panic attack and the following thoughts race through her mind.
...CBR pools close at midnight....Pan and Grumpy had 2 bottles with them...there is alot of water around the resort....what if they got disorderly and were kicked out by security....what if they are asleep out on the beach-they'll be eaten alive by the bugs.....
Maybe Grumpy forgot his room key and is asleep in Pan's room. Should DN call Pan's room and risk waking up the kids??????
She just can't risk waking up those kids. He is probably asleep next door! Yes that has to be it!!! Definately!!!!
After 45 more minutes DN convinces herself that this is the case.
At 3:30am she is proved wrong. Pan and Grumpy stumble into their respective rooms. The typical arms slung over each others shoulder slurred singing etc....Happy as a couple of clams.
Day 6-Wednesday
AHhhhhhhh SPA DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DN and Tink have spa day today right after breakfast. The guys have charge of 5 kids. Yes 5 kids! The clams they ain't so happy today!!!
Now isn't that just poetic justice?
We find out that Pan and Grumpy had gone to the main pool the night before. They met an airline pilot and a very nice couple and they all started drinking and had their own little party until 3:30.
We hop on the bus and head for the Grand Floridian for breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. Grumpy is sooooo tired. Pan is just green.
We plan to get off at MK and take the monorail, but the bus driver stops at the Contemporary for their Character breakfast so we hop on the monorail there. (we did ask if he could drop us at GF, but no dice)
We arrive and meet Mary Poppins in the lobby. We also saw Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger and Pooh. The character interaction here was great!! The food was really good too.
Unfortunately Pan was not able to enjoy his breakfast as much as everyone else. His mantra for the day was "Character breakfast baaaaaaad! Character lunch goooooood!" He repeated this to DN about 25 times. hee hee hee!
After breakfast DN and Tink headed for the GF Spa. Grumpy and Pan had to drop off Ariel and lil'hook for the Pirates Cruise. Then pick them back up and take everyone back to CBR.
DN and Tink arrive at the Spa. Oh it has that delicious Spa smell when you open the door.
We are given our robes and slippers and shown to the locker room. Tink says Oh! we should have brought our swim suits so we could enjoy the whirlpool. Not a problem says the CM, and she provides us with disposable ones!
How great is that? We lounged in the whirlpool and then the sauna before our treatments. DN had the head shoulder and neck massage 25 min. and a French Spa pedicure. Both were fantastic. Tink had the same, but also a European facial. What a wonderful escape!!!
We headed back to CBR about 1:30pm. When we arrived, the entire group was asleep. B. Wen was stirring so we took her to OPR and had lunch.
At 4:00 we were all on the bus headed to DQ. A little boy comes up to Tink and calls B.Wen by name. Tink is confused as to how this little boy knows her baby. His mother explains to Tink and DN how they were on the bus with Grumpy and Pan and how those poor guys were struggling with 2 strollers and 2 babies. They must be such good dads etc.... Pan and Grumpy are eating this up!!
We arrive at DQ and the DN realizes that she has made her 2nd Error on this trip. The options on Park Hopper tickets cannot be used for DQ. For 2 years DN has been under the mistaken impression that they could be. Everyone decides not to purchase admission since it was so late in the day.
We had dinner at Fulton's (10% discount with Family #1 AP's). We had a great waiter who suggested the Sour Cherry Cobbler for dessert. I was scrumptious!!!!
Then we returned to World of Disney and did some major shopping (Also 10% discount with Family #1 AP's)
DN purchased her Partners statue clock and had it package delivered to CBR. Yippeee!!!!
We returned to the room and everyone headed to bed (including Pan and Grumpy)
