Thursday July 29th:

Finally ohh finally we get to the park at 10:00 a.m. what the heck we even splurged and did the $12 preferred parking LOL we didnt wanna have to walk so far again.
Again we didnt get to do Shrek the wait time was 90 minutes so we bypassed that.
Headed for Jimmy Neutron waited 10 minutes
Earthquake wait time 10 minutes
MIB wait time 10 minutes
Back to the Future 15 minutes

Time for lunch:
Myself, Jess, & Wayne went to Animal Crackers for a hot dog
what in the world was I thinking?? What no chili or slaw? Just a plain hotdog, the condiments for this was a packet of mustard and a packet of relish. Umm next time I'll find another waffle cone and that'll be lunch instead.
DS decided he just wasnt hungry so he skipped that.
DH- Comes back to our table eating a Turkey Leg, looked & smelled good but No thank you! LOL

Time for more rides:
Woody Woodpeckers Coaster wait time 10 minutes
ET- wait time 10 minutes
Next was the Ultimate I have been waiting for......
The Mummy
We took turns with this ride since DS was NOT going to ride this
Jess & Wayne rode it first....we waited on them appox 20-25 minutes
Jess & Wayne watched DS while myself and DH rode it
Wait time approx 15 minutes we got to ride in the front row!!!
This was was awsum......but with my chewing gum episode and the spilled margarita slush again something had to happen and guess what?...............
The ride broke down right at the point where the flames are above your head....panick sets in for me....especially when the young single rider sitting next to me says " I've rode it before and this has never happened" " something is wrong", at this point I see a camera and I'm mouthing " I wanna get off " LOL...about 5 minutes later we all hear " this ride will start at any moment now"
and whooosh.......we take off again. Would I ride it again? You bet I would!!

Next was Animal Planet Live- Wait time 10 minutes, very cute show. After this we were thrilled to have been able to ride the rides we wanted and not be so tired I would highly suggest getting the express plus passes. If not at least try to get the free ones at the express distribution.

After leaving the park we went to an offsite restaurant and we going to do some outlet shopping and get to bed early so we could do the same thing at IOA on the next day. Unfortunately when we returned to our hotel room this particular night, we all had voice mail messages on our cell phones. My best friend's grandfather had passed away earlier that morning and they had been trying to get in touch with us throughout the day.
Jess tried to get us to stay and finish out the rest of our trip, but being the person I am, I could not stay and have a good time, knowing that my best friend was going thru such a terrible time and needed to get home and be with her family.

The trip alltogether was wonderful!! We will be going back again in 2005. The only 2 things that I really wanted to do was Shrek and buy another one of those VHS IOA tapes, we already had the US tape and just wanted the other one. But hopefully they will have them again next year.

To everyone that is going have a great time and If you have any questions feel free to ask or PM me.
Bye for now

Wow, great reports.
Next time, you need to stay onsite so you can leave the others behind and walk to the parks early. I felt sorry for you, knowing you woke up early each morning, only to be waiting on others. That's the problem with inviting friends. The more people on the trip, the more complicated it becomes.
Most of the time, you arrived at 10 or 11am, with everyone else.
One of these days, you'll arrive the parking garage at 8am, get to the gate, stand near the front, go in at 08:45am, and everything will be a walk on for 2 hours.
Start saving now for an RPR visit.
Or come back in February when crowds are light.

Nice set of reports. Just think with Staying at the On-Site Hotels you can ride express all the time. With a 90 Minute wait on MIB we rode it at least 5 times with our Hotel Key. Anyway sounds like you had a good time.

You are a true friend and thats more important than rides. loved your reports!

Great report ~ Thanx for sharing.
