Day 5 of Atkin's induction

I'm feeling good. I've stopped drinking diet drinks & caffiene. I also stopped all processed low carb foods, like morning start bars & chocolate bars. My cravings are gone and I feel full eating the basic foods. I also have more energy, and no desire to cheat.

My foods today are:

Breakfast Hot itailian sausage

Lunch Chicken salad and string cheese

Dinner baked chicken with melted provolone cheese
Salad with a cucumber and 2 cups of lettuce, vinegar & oil

Snack Jello & string cheese

My only problem has been that I get bored after the kids go to bed, about 9. This is when I relax and watch TV. I haven't cheated but felt urges to get something to snack on while watching TV. (Even though I'm not hungry.) I'm thinking of making low carb chicken fingers or some other type of snack to get me through this. Anyone have suggestions.

grilled chicken is a good choice. I like grilled bacon. If you like egg salad thats ok. Dill pickles are good also.
 
You're doing so well.

For a snack at night I like to have a deviled egg.
 
pork rinds....and no carbs at all.

I used to eat cheese/pepperoni and a little mustard to dip the cheese in. feels like cheating but its not.

celery and cream cheese is one of my favorite night time snacks
 
Sugar free jello with whipped cream helps me through the night :)
