Nov. 1ST
8:00am and STITCH wakes us up
he really needs another job!
With a candy hangover, we decide to skip a
traditional breakfast and DH and I grab a quick cup
of coffee at the Boardwalk Bakery and head over to
meet the SABs at the Swan/Dolphin Boat launch.
While waiting for the boat to MGM, we meet our new
friend, Carlos. From this day on, every time we are
at the Swan/Dolphin boat launch he is there! We
know he brings us good luck on our vacation.
The boat ride is great and we get to MGM just as
the gates are opening.
Jer and DH ride RNR and then they want to head
over to the Extreme Stunt show. Boys will always
be boys- they are so excited for this show! How
fortunate to get seats in the first row- as the parks
arent that crowded, we get another shot of vacation luck!
The show was a bit long, but good. I dont think
well see this again on this trip.
Vincent sees his first showing of Muppets and
goes crazy- so we see it two times in a row
and then grab some lunch.
After lunch we have fast passes for WWTBAM
and as luck would have it- I answered the fastest
finger question and got in the hot seat! This is my
second time in the hot seat and Im so nervous. I just
want to have a good time! The moderator was so nice
and very cheesy, but we moved through a lot of questions
very fast without using any lifelines. Then the $64,000
came up and I used all 3 of my lifelines and still didnt
know the answer. I took a guess and got it wrong?!!
But what fun it was to be in the hot seat! I was a
pseudo-celebrity! As we were celebrating my success
in the Hot Seat we encountered a really bad rain storm.
Good thing we parked Vincents stroller underneath
the awning.
DH and Jer ran across Hollywood Blvd and bought
us all ponchos as we prepared for a long and wet
walk to the boat transportation. It was perfect
timing for us as we had planned to leave the park
and get massages that afternoon.
Getting a massage on vacation is like eating Ice
Cream and not getting fat!! How relaxing. It rained
all afternoon and as luck would have it stopped
raining as we headed out to meet the SABs for
dinner at Le Cellier in Canada. It was a bit of a wet
walk through World Showcase, but we made it to our
reservation on time and dinner was great!
DH answered a trivia question correctly and got a
great badge! How funny!
Emily was our waittress and she was outstanding
and always brought more pretzel bread without us asking.
We were stuffed after a great dinner and watched
Illuminations from the bridge connecting France and
England, near the International Gateway. Vincent slept
through the entire show! Afterwards, we headed to
Downtown Disney to enjoy the night air and spend
some money. Vincent was an angel and slept the rest
of the night in his stroller allowing his mom and me to
spend serious Disney Dollars in the World of Disney store.
DH and Jer ordered up some margueritas and waited
patiently for us to exit the store and share with them
our wonderful purchases.
We called it a night around 11:45pm and bussed back
to the BWI and said good night to our friends. Tomorrow
Animal Kingdom, Spinach and the EARL!
