Me--49 year old Disney planner
DC1--42 year old cousin
DC2--DC1s 7 year old daughter
Slept a bit late and ate breakfast at Trails End. What a yummy meal! Just loved those Mickey waffles. Then to Blizzard Beach. Seemed crowded to me, but who knows? DC2 loved the Ski Patrol area. After a while, we took a spin on the Cross Country Creek lazy river type ride. This was CROWDED and not a very enjoyable experience. We returned to Ski Patrol area to find DC1s bag had been stolen!! Sort of bummed us out, but contained nothing but two FT Wilderness towels, suntan lotion, and old sunglasses. Our money and passes were in our water wallets around our necks! Played some more at Ski Patrol and ate our sandwiches for lunch. Then we played around awhile in the wave pool and headed out. On the way out, we stopped at Guest Services and reported the theft. Back to the cabin for rest and homework break. We then found the Disney outlet store at Premium Outlets and picked up some bargains. Then on to DTD. Small rain shower so we ducked into McDonalds for supper. Then to the Disney Store. This place was just overwhelming!! DC2 had her own shopping money and carefully looked over the merchandise. She picked out a white princess dress and the matching accessories. Now, this is worth noting because this child HATES dresses. I am now a firm believer in the magic of Disney!! She put it on at least once a day for the rest of the trip and you could just tell she was in princess la-la land!! What a hoot! We had a message when we returned--the stolen bag had been found! The water park and the shopping had worn us out, so we turned in early. Tomorrow--breakfast with Pooh.
