Monday 30th July 2003 - Shop 'Til You Drop!
After a lovely breakfast at Denny's it is time for shopping!
Over the course of the day we hit:
* Publix (you aren't really on holiday until you've bought some silly cereal which in our case is a box of 'Mud n Bugs'!)
* K-Mart (aqua shoes were required)
And
* Belz Outlet Malls (can you say 'new trainers'?!)
Crazily enough we even ventured into the Character Warehouse in Belz even though it wouldn't be until tomorrow that we truly returned to the 'World'. Really, who could resist taking a look? LOL
All that was left to do was to go buy our tickets. We each got a 5-day Hopper for WDW, a 14-day, 5-park 'FlexTicket' for "the other parks" and DBF, my brother and I got a 1-day entrance to those five floors of fun - DisneyQuest!
The evening was spent relaxing in the pool and generally making the most of the peace and quiet of being five adults on holiday before the rest of our party (two adults and three children under 14) arrived. Actually, who am I trying to kid?! As the pictures show there was very little 'peace' to be had in the pool area as DBF (Jon, 24) and my brother (Andrew, 18) had managed to buy 'SuperSoaker' water guns at the K-Mart! ("But we need them for when the kids come..." Yeah Right!!)
