I'm writing about Day 2 as I listen to one of the things I bought on the trip: "Walt Disney Takes You to Disneyland, a musical trip of the Magic Kingdom". Very cool!!!!
I got a wake up call for 7:00 (still Stitch , but Mickey's there, too!
) and went to work out at the GF's health club. That place is sooooooo nice compared to alot of hotel's health clubs. Lots of machines, clean, pleasant, and a view of the castle from the ellipticals! They used to make us pay, but now it's free (or as free as anything really is at WDW ) so I just love it! I love getting up early and walking over to the GF in the quiet with my coffee from the Poly. It's such a great way to start the day.And after working out, I felt so good and ready to go!!!!! By 10:00 I was showered and ready to hit a park...but which one??? I'm always a little overwhelmed with the choices and with no one else to decide for me, I hardly knew how to make up my mind!!!!
EPCOT was calling my name, so I walked over to the TTC and caught the monorail. First thing, a fast pass for Soarin' (which I forgot to use and I'll tell you why later! ) and then, well then, I had to get Mouse Gears out of my system or I couldn't do anything else! (This might be the best gift shop outside of DTD, don't you think?) There, I bought the CD I was telling you about, a couple of things my kids asked me for, and a Mickey baseball cap for me. I have to practically give myself a time limit in there or else I'll stay there all day!
I like to do the countries first and Future World after, so I just started with the UK and went my merry way around the world, chatting with people and seeing what was new. I watched the movie in France, which I love and no one will ever do with me, and then decided to have lunch there. People must be over being mad at France, because it was crowded and I think I was lucky to get a table without a PS!!!! My waiter was a cute young thing with, of course, a cute young French accent (the French cast members are extra good looking, in my opinion!) and I had a salad and had 2 (that's right, you heard me - 2 - ) glasses of Pinot Noir. Remember how I said I didn't use the fast pass for soarin'? Ummmmm, well, when you are having a great time at lunch and have a little wine buzz on a sunny Florida day sometimes you forget you even have a fast pass, I guess!
