It was nice having a room overlooking the psrk but it did get very noisey around 6am as they were cleaning Main street and the area around the turnstiles and with our window open we could hear everything! Still it meant we were up early and ready for breakfast at 7.30am.

My cheery mood soon went as soon as I saw the queue for b'fast, it was 7.20 and already it was queuing out of the restaurant/bar area! When we finally got seated for b'fast we had the worst customer service in history and I really thought I was having b'fast in Joes Cafe basically and not Disneys Flagship Hotel! I'm a coeliac and always have to ask Disney for b'fast items I can have and this has never been a problem up till now. After asking 5 different servers and alot of hassle, I eventually got a plate slammed down with 10 cakes on, needless to say I was less than impressed! The rest of the breakfast was push & shove, they had ran out of alot of things and people were just standing around moaning and yelling, it was nothing like the magical b'fast calm I was expecting! B'fast at the Sequoia is so much more quieter and the staff more pleasant!

Anyway we didn't linger around b'fast too long, and headed off into the park. As my sister isn't keen on thrill rides we gave the Studios a miss and just concentrated on shows and the park.

We did Peter Pan, Snow White, Pinnochio, Tea Cups and its a small world, the I abandoned her to do Pirates again, then I grabbed some fastpasses for BTM and rode those whilst she sat having a coffee! We also saw Mickey open the park offically in his car - have been a few times now and never seen him do this! We also saw Mickeys winterwonderland and this was so cute.

Then we did Phantom Manor, you could really see the improvements they have done, then we explored around the Pirates area, the pontoon bridge before heading back to the room for a lunch which we picked up in Main Steet.

I went for a swim after lunch and it was so quiet, I didn't like the fact that there is no direct access from the changing rooms to the pool and you have to walk across the reception area to access the pool. Once I got back to the room we got ready to do a bit more of the park and as we were leaving our oom and walking down the corridor we bumped into Mickey, Tigger and Pluto to our delight! It was 4pm and they were about to do the dance down the stairs so we stood to watch it from above and then we popped down to get some photos with the 'stars'!!

We headed into the park now and caught the end of the parade so were fortunate to be able to see that before heading off to do Buzz and then Honey I shrunk the audience!

We then had a hot chocolate and sat down to wait for Candlebration - which I have never seen!

As we left the Park Mickey was waving goodbye to us and I commented to my sister that I can't ever remember seeing the mouse so much in one day!

We had a lovely meal in Inventions and were visited by Chip n Dale, Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Eeyore, Tigger and Mr Smee. The food as usual was excellent but the character interaction was fantastic, I've eaten at Inventions a few times but never had I seen so many characters in one sitting!

We had a drink afterwards in the bar and then retired back to the room for so much needed zzzzzzzzz!!!

Wow you packed loads in sounds like a fab day! And so many characters, my los would have loved that! :goodvibes

A busy but great day:goodvibes

Sorry to hear about the breakfast fiasco, not what you expect from the DLH and how silly of them not to accept your vouchers at Annette's, it was your loss, I really don't see the problem :confused3

Anyway glad you managed to have a good time in the park and enjoyed Inventions. :thumbsup2
