I know it's probably best to just get home and post...but I don't want to forget ONE little moment here...SO...you get it in bits and pieces!!
Day 2 we were all up early (excited) and headed down to White Water Snacks for breakfast. Had bagel, fruit, cereal..easy and priced just right. After that we walked over to downtown disney and it was SO nice! Hardly anyone there and just enjoyed the morning walk/window shopping (WOD wasn't open yet) and the music of course! Took some pictures and got in line over at CA.
<singing> do you know the way to san jose...lalalalalalalala...hehehe! Hardly anyone there and did some shopping then walked on to soarin' TWICE in a row!! Went up to Grizzly and walked on that. Went back to change and then headed over to Toy Story...I wasn't sure if we should cuz you all said that it's better to just go first thing...but I was DYING to try it!
DANG on the work they are doing to the lagoon...I knew they were but didn't know the extent of it...SHEESH! That's some work! Watched a few screamin' take offs and then saw that the line for Toy Story was less than 15 minutes so we all got in. My poor 2 year old was scared straight from Mr. Potato head on. We got onto the ride and he went straight through to the CM...clinging to her and wouldn't let go...LOL!!! That was so funny!! My husband and 7 year old went on and I asked to do a child swap. They gave me a ticket and sent us on our way. When they got off I went to the front, gave them the ticket and was on in no time.
THAT WAS SERIOUSLY THE MOST FUN I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME!!
I can't wait to go back tomorrow!!!!!!
After that it was 2pm and we all were hot (sun came out and it got pretty warm) so some went swimming, some napped and then some went over to DL and road Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Buzz and took the monorail back to downtown disney. The kids were beat so hubby and I went to the Mandara Spa and had treatments about 6.30pm. It was so quiet/peaceful and I think we were seriously the only ones in there. It was so very nice. I was skeptical and yes the prices are a little high but what ISN'T here!!
Came back up with some Storytellers Spaghetti (VERY DELICIOUS) and I'm doing some laundry. Speaking of laundry WHO DESIGNED this hotel??? I got totally lost and went SO out of my way winding through hallways and hallways and more hallways!! Good gravy!!!
WHOEVER, suggested asking for a room near the elevator deserves an award, some ears, something!! I walk out my door and again hear the piano man playing "when you wish upon a star" but as soon as I turn the corner to head down the endless hallways it's all gone
Yea, I know we could have done a TON more today but we're just taking things slow, enjoying and doing our favorites & new
Weather was warm, no rain and crowds were very low. We're up a little bit early tomorrow for MM (I still want to type EE...hehehe). Can't WAIT to see small world tomorrow and DD wants to see Pixie Hallow (ok, so do I). I also want to walk through the castle and see what they did (if anything?!?!).
