Day 2 - My band plays EPCOT

OK, that title is slightly misleading but doesn't this picture look like a rock band promo?

The big story so far has been rain. We're hiding from rain just past Mexican pavilion. Didn't make it to Norway fast enough. Haven't broken down for ponchos yet. Actually, rain cooled things down a bit.
Skipped big meal tonight in Germany. We just did counter service at CR. So glad we didn't do meal plan. I feel like a whale already.
Having a great time. Wish you were here. Room is awesome at BLT.

We were there last week, and as you pointed out earlier -- it is HOT in August. But, it was not intolerable. We got lucky and only had rain in the evening on Friday and later on Saturday. The rain does help cool it down a little.

We did the meal plan (for free) on a cash reservation in February, and I felt stuffed the entire time. I also returned about 4-5 pounds over baseline (thank goodness for the 14,000 steps at Epcot on one day during that trip!). We now do TIW with our AP and eat alot less!

Here's hoping the weather is more cooperative for the rest of your stay! Definitely give us a report after TOTWL. We will be in a studio for 4 nights in October and are looking forward to taking advantage of that feature of BLT.

DW and DD went to MK in rain last night. Advantage of being so close.
We have ADR's for every night but I don't see us keeping them all.
Contempo Cafe was yummy last night. We bought mugs and I drank 5 cups of soda. We're dealing with heat just fine.
