Monday November 1st part 1
I was hoping that I would be able to take advantage of the time difference and get up early each morning, so I had set the alarm for 06.30 and kept the curtains opened. Sure enough, I was woken to glorious sunny weather just before the alarm went off. First things first, I got the coffee on, and then I went out to look at the view from my porch; it wasnt brilliant, I had the airco units on one side, and the window of another villa on the other, but if I looked straight ahead I could see the golf course through the trees and the blue sky with fluffy white clouds .. and I was at WDW with a whole week ahead of me! BLISS.

The coffee was done now, so I poured a cup and tried to connect to the Internet to collect my mail, which worked. Then I called DH, or rather I called & let it ring twice so he could call me back (less expensive!). I must have really been in holiday mode as the first 3 times I dialed my own number wrongly! Got it right in the end and talked to DH for a while.
By now it was getting to the time I should be on my way to a park, so after the morning abolutions off I went. I was meeting Rhys and Jessica at MGM at 12.00, so I thought the best plan would be to go to Epcot as its easy to get to MGM from there. The first bus that came past was an Epcot one, so it was obviously meant to be! However, I had forgotten that the bus goes all the way around OKW before going to its destination, so I had a nice sightseeing tour
Got to Epcot, which was all dressed up for the Food & Wine festival with a lovely topiary of the Fab 5 having a picnic/barbeque. Which reminded me; it was time for breakfast off to the Fountainview Café. It was a bit too early for one of the scrummy pastries how can it be too early for chocolate!?! So I had a breakfast croissant, which was yummy. Took it to a table outside and sat there, just enjoying the day & the fountain. I was all alone on the terrace but after about 5 minutes an elderly gentlemen came and sat down, he was also having a breakfast croissant and enjoying the fountain!
Having finished my breakfast I went to check out the Pin station, found a Dory pin for Jessica (as it would be her birthday tomorrow) and got a halloween one for myself. Then I popped over to MouseGear and had a browse. It was a bit early in the day for Mission Space, so I did Test Track instead. Now I could use the single rider line and mean it
It was a fun ride, the ride stopped just before you go round the bend into the crash test
. Great place to stop! That crash test gets me every time.. and especially when the ride just starts up again
I hope its all working ok
..!!!

By now it was almost time for World Showcase to open, I had read somewhere that if you were first on Maelstrom you got a Viking of the day hat, so I figured Id have to try that. On my way I saw the Segway tour come past, just like a lot of ducklings following their mother. The expressions on the face varied from this is great to I hope I stay on ! . It looked like fun.

WS was just opening and it was deserted, so I managed to get some nice pictures on my way to Norway. I was first in line and had a lovely trip with the trolls. It had been awhile since Id been on the ride, so Id forgotton parts of it. I didnt get a viking hat though.. Took some pictures of JJ with a friend.

Walked over to the International Gateway and there was a boat just coming in, but after I boarded it waited for a while till it finally departed, so I was now running a bit late I almost got off at the Boardwalk to walk to MGM, but I figured Id still do enough walking, so I stayed on board. Got to MGM just before 12, so I was cutting it rather fine, luckily there wasnt a queue so the bag search and entry went quickly and I was soon on my way to the ToT where I was going to meet Rhys & Jessica at the fast pass machines. I hoped they would still be there
