Davy Crockett plate and bowl

My husband has a Davy Crockett plate and bowl that he had since he was a child. It was manufactured in the 50's and he was wondering if anyone out there knows if it is worth anything (aside from sentimental value to him).
Has anyone else seen these?

You didn't give much of a description to go on. Is the plate and bowl plastic, porecelain, etc? What color are they? What kind of markings do they have? etc.

I did a quick eBay search and found a FIre King Davy Crocket plate and bowl set with a minimum bid of $9.99. The seller doesn't post the age, but you may wish to check it out.

I have a great Davy Crocket cookie jar (also from the 50's) that I had since I was a very young chilld. Gotta luv the King of the wild frontier! Good luck and enjoy the memories!

There were a number of Davy Crockett cookie jars made (adult head, child-like w/rifle, round bodied, etc.) and a couple of them have been reproduced over the years. Disney never made a Crockett cookie jar, though.
