As you will have your car, I would recommend bringing loads of drinks and snacks as this can certainly reduce the amount spent especially for drinks in the hot weather.
Sunscreen, pain relief as you cannot buy it in the shops easily in France so better go prepared
I'd recommend having a lie in one day, and hitting the pool in the morning. You often have it to yourself, compared to the evenings when it's usually much busier.
Would also walk up to the Tavern for a meal one evening, as the food is generally very good
Small (like complimentary toiletry-size) bottle of washing up liquid and a few dishwasher tabs - you do get a little pack but never enough - if you envisage doing any self-catering. Ditto small bottle of olive oil for dressings/frying. I also take anti-bac wipes as I'm a bit OCD about cleaning anywhere I cook first and paper towels.
